Problem with two new cars I purchased two new Acuras in November of 2015, an MDX and aRDX. The MDX had a fuel pump issue while I was in florida and was repaired by a dealer th I purchased two new Acuras in November of 2015, an MDX and aRDX. The MDX had a fuel pump issue while I was in florida and was repaired by a dealer there. When returned home I noticed that the RDX made a noise while braking and the front passenger door on the MDX didn't close properly. I called Acura of Westchester and was put in touch with George Brunner. George was thoroughly professional. He made an appointment for me to bring the cars in. He put me in a loaner car and both problems were resolved. The RDX had its rotors recut and the MDX needed a part in the door. Not good for two new cars. However, my service experience was first rate. I felt welcome and that my problem would be resolved. I had the loaner car for three days. My inconvenience was minimal and when I picked up the cars they were clean and sparkling. I like a business that appreciates and respects it customers. Bad Service/ Bad Quality Control I had my first service on a new Acura RLX at this dealer.. There is little that they did correctly. A-Since I drove in from Long Island, and neede I had my first service on a new Acura RLX at this dealer.. There is little that they did correctly. A-Since I drove in from Long Island, and needed a loaner car,I brought my car to service center at 9 AM, and was told to come back at 1 PM, to pick up my car. When I came back at 2 PM, they had not yet touched car,and they asked me to come back at night or the next day.I had wasted my drive out there. B-The car was not clean, as they committed, with a large mud smear along lower doors.When I pointed that out, they did clean it. C-Under a recall they installed new headlights. When I drove the car the next evening and used the headlights,other cars were flashing their headlights at me, telling me that I my brights were on, which they were not. I then noticed that headlights were unevenly installed and aimed, so that one light was blinding oncoming cars. Really !! D-They up-sold me on filling my tires with Nitrogen.I spent $ $90 for that. The tires were underinflated by dealer , and service agent could not top off the air pressure in tires, as it was too late in day when I returned a second time to pick up the car. E- I called and emailed the service dept to complain, and they simply did not bother to respond. I am glad they will not be my local dealer or service agent. More
