Can't say enough good things about this dealership. Mike was easy to work with which is why we have bought a total of 5 vehicles from the Adams family. Mike was great, personable and knowledgeable about the products. The used car sales manager on the otherhand was knowledgeable but not friendly or personable. If I would have just been dealing with the us products. The used car sales manager on the otherhand was knowledgeable but not friendly or personable. If I would have just been dealing with the used car manager and not Mike I would not have made the purchase. More
I was in the market for a USED Jeep and at the time I was looking, I had a pretty substantial amount of negative equity in my vehicle that I hoped to trade in. A good friend of mine that I work with recomme looking, I had a pretty substantial amount of negative equity in my vehicle that I hoped to trade in. A good friend of mine that I work with recommended that I check with his Jeep Dealer (Adams) and specifically Mike. I was skeptical because I've not only bought several vehicles from dealers but I've actually worked in new car sales a long time ago so I know the pitch that most car dealerships try to sell. I trusted my friend's advice and made the hour long trip to Adams and I'm glad that I did. Immediately upon arrival I knew that I was in the right place. It was a toy store for big kids. There were Jeeps of all types everywhere and more real serious off road hardware than I've ever seen in any other dealership in one place at one time. My comfort level increased drastically because I felt confident that they were going to have what I was looking for and ultimately they did. I managed to trade in my vehicle, pick up a beautiful '07 Wrangler X with lockers and electronic sway bar disconnect with a budget boost for a sweet deal. I can't really say enough about the dealership and Mike. Mike always called me back and he always answered my questions. It's nice to actually buy a Jeep from somebody who actually takes his off road and wheels regularly instead of someone who's just looking to rack up another sale for the month. I'll never go anywhere else for my cars. I'm now trying to talk my wife out of her Toyota Highlander and into a new Grand Cherokee just because I want another Jeep in the driveway! If you're in the MD/PA/VA area and are seriously looking for anything from the luxury of a Grand Cherokee to the off road monsters that they have on the lot, don't waste your time going to any other dealership. I promise you won't be disappointed. More
Not only would I recommend this dealership/ salesman, I have! Both Mike Gardener, as well as the Adam's service team, have been very helpful and knowledgeable. Even after the purchase, Mr. Gardener has go have! Both Mike Gardener, as well as the Adam's service team, have been very helpful and knowledgeable. Even after the purchase, Mr. Gardener has gone above and beyond the duties of a sales rep, to make my purchase from Adam's a confident, and easy one. Will definately be back in a few years to do it all over again. Thanks again Mike!!! More
I bought my 2009 Jeep Wrangler in Sept. of 2009 from Adams Jeep of Maryland and it was a vehicle from the lot that they had already put a lift kit and larger tires on. I purchased the lifetime warranty Adams Jeep of Maryland and it was a vehicle from the lot that they had already put a lift kit and larger tires on. I purchased the lifetime warranty with the vehicle and was told by the guy handling the finance portion of my purchase that it would cover all the parts of my lift kit, except the tires. This was one of the sole reasons I agreed to buy the warranty. Since my purchase, I have had an issue with the car shaking violently anytime I hit the slightest bump while driving in the 20-40mph range. I have taken the car back four times to be fixed for this issue which qualifies it under Maryland's Lemon Law. The first time I took it to be serviced, I was told that my alignment was off so they fixed that and I had to pay for the repair. The problem persisted so I took my car back a second time where I was told that my steering stabilizer was not strong enough to handle the lift kit and I would need to upgrade to a heavy duty one, or the problem would keep returning. So I upgraded the steering stabilizer, which I again had to pay for, which I found strange since the dealership had performed the lift and placed a part on there that they knew would not be compatible, nor was it covered by my warranty. But I didn't complain, I just wanted my car to work. The problem still persisted though, and I again had to bring it back in for a third time where I was told that my tires probably had not been rotated front to back through any of my rotations and that should help the shaking. So I had to pay for that service, but it didn't stop the shaking at all. I recently took my car in for the fourth time where I told them that it is so bad that it's unsafe and undrivable and that I'm going to file for the Lemon law if it can't be repaired this time. I was told by Mike Gardner (my salesman) that he would look after the repairs and make sure it was taken care of. I received one phone call the next day from serviceman, John Loucks, which I missed so he left a voicemail. He said that my car needed two track bars to be replaced and if I needed the vehicle for the weekend, I could pick it up, or if I wanted the work done, I could leave it. I called back, but John was gone so I told the receptionist that I didn't need the vehicle so he could go ahead and do the work. That was on Friday. I received a phone call on Tues that my car was ready and that I owed over $500 for the repair. This made me very upset as I was given no mention of a cost and I still have the voicemail that John left me where he did not mention a cost before I got the work done. I also didn't understand why my warranty was not covering any of the repairs for the continued issue, and he told me that it didn't cover the lift kit parts, which only had a 90 day warranty, a very different story than I was told upon the purchase of my jeep. I also found it ridiculous that it took four service visits that each cost me money before they found the real source of the problem. I was very unpleased by this and was told by John that the best he could do was not charge me for the labor, which still left me with a $330 bill. I contacted Mike Gardner and his only response was that he hated when that happens and that he wished there was something he could do. I feel that I have been lied to about what my warranty covers and about what was really wrong with my vehicle so that I would have to continually pay for services and eventually replace the entire lift kit at my expense. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and it makes me regret strongly ever having purchased a vehicle from Adams Jeep of Maryland. More
The sales team at Adams Jeep of Maryland, Inc. is the friendliest and most professional team I have ever purchased a vehicle from. I purchased a new 2011, 70th anniversity, Jeep Grand Cherokee over the i friendliest and most professional team I have ever purchased a vehicle from. I purchased a new 2011, 70th anniversity, Jeep Grand Cherokee over the internet. I tried purchasing a Jeep in NY but trying to get the "true purchase price" of the vehicle I wanted was a challenge. I shop to try to save and get the best price but the NY dealers play a game where they give you a price, send you on your way, and say " come back if you get a better price, I can beat them". Why didn't they give me a good price to begin with? Purchasing from Adams Jeep I made a call, told them what I wanted. They gave me a no nonsense price that saved me an awful lot of money. The deal was set over the phone and a short Amtrak train ride to Aberdeen, Maryland where Keith Cook, Adams Jeep internet specialist, met me and drove me to the dealership. My Jeep was preped and ready to go. Keith explained all the new options and how to work them. I signed the fiancing forms and within less than an hour I was ready to go. The sales team introduced themselves and I even met Mr. Adams. A special thanks to Steve Michaels, Wayne and Mike for their hospitality. I highly recommend doing business with this dealership. More

I would definately recommend this so friendly and really went out of their way for both my mom and I when we both purchased new 2011 Jeeps from them. I would definately recommend this dealer. MICHAEL GARDNER IS THE BEST. He walked us through it all and answered all our questions. He was honest with us and never once did he "beat around the bush" when it came to numbers and service. I will be sending all my family and friends to MICHAEL GARDNER at Adams Jeep when making their next vehicle purchase. :D More
