Brought car into dealership to have 2 recalls addressed, rough idle, bent metal shield beneath vehicle replaced, oil change and cabin air filter. When I got the car back the front passenger wheel well shiel rough idle, bent metal shield beneath vehicle replaced, oil change and cabin air filter. When I got the car back the front passenger wheel well shield that protects the engine compartment from debris kicked up by wheel was missing, engine still running very rough. Contacted scion customer care, the dealership and still haven't been helped. No one seems to be contacting me regarding these issues. Next step is small claims court and social media. More

After receiving a Safety Recall Notice (SRS/ ECM) I scheduled an appointment on 4/4/13. At my arrival Advisor Kenya Augustin informed me they ran out of parts and advised me to return the next day aft scheduled an appointment on 4/4/13. At my arrival Advisor Kenya Augustin informed me they ran out of parts and advised me to return the next day after verifying with the parts & service department the part would be available. I asked if I need to schedule a 2nd appointment, she replied NO here is my business card. I informed her I will return on 4/5 at 1145, she said fine. NEVER apologized for the inconvenience! The next day at my surprise she informed me they ran out of parts AGAIN. I asked what was the point of scheduling an appointment? Why no one contacted me to cancel. She replied with an attitude the list I can say is rude “Come back another day early, nothing I can do, you heard it they don’t have the part”. I was in shock. Does she even know what customer service means? Again, not even an apology. I asked for the manager. She pointed to the back office. The manager was on the phone. I waited for a while then left. The situation seemed a little fishy so I called the next day on 4/6/13 around 10 am to verify if the part is available and was informed they ran out again. I find that to be hard to believe. I had the worst experience, ever. Their customer service is at best poor. Their facility has failed to remedy the defect within a reasonable time. At this point I am questioning their willingness to repair the defect. I would like to remind you this is a SAFETY recall. I would be seeking legal advice and submitting a complaint to the Administrator NHTSA. More

My experience with the service rep, Nicole Hopson was great. She was quick and efficient and arranged for me to have a ride home because the wait was going to be long. She also sent the driver back to pick me up and had my paperwork ready upon my return. She made for a very pleasant service experience. However the showroom experience wasn't as pleasant. I wanted to see what the new Rav4 looked like o before I left, I went over to the dealer. side. I walked in to three men standing at the desk. They just looked at me and no one said hello until I did. None of them or anyone else for that matter asked if I needed help. I got in the Rav4, I looked around, got out and opened the trunk and walked around the car. During all of that and as I was leaving not one person asked if I needed help. They didn't know what I was there for. I have been unhappy with my car from the start. First it was finding out that the doors didn't auto lock and all that went on with that. I sat in service for a really long time on the promise that it could be programmed when it couldn't. When I called Toyota corporate, they weren't helpful either. Now less than a year later, there is a new model. I'm afraid to ask if those doors auto lock! More
I think the level of Ms. Kenya Augustin professionalism is the reason I will purchase anther car from Toyota. When you buy a car your relationship with the salesman is very short lived. I own a 2003 Camry. A few weeks ago, I made an appointment to have some knocking / louder than usual noises from the engine investigated. As I use the car for commuting everyday, I wanted to ensu appointment to have some knocking / louder than usual noises from the engine investigated. As I use the car for commuting everyday, I wanted to ensure that a potential problem didn't develop into something worse. The mechanic ran a diagnostic and examined the engine. He determined that the noises were the result of a 4 cylinder engine being a little bit noiser during some very cold weather here in the NY area. I wasn't charged anything as there turned out to be nothing wrong with the car. My dealings with this dealership have always been honest and professional. My experience has been that nothing gets repaired unless it needs to be repaired. During this last visit, both my service advisor (Kenya Augustin) and the mechanic treated me with respect and honesty. Each took time to discuss and review the determination that the car was indeed fine and didn't require any repair / maintenance at this time. More
