uninformed or incomplete service This was my first experience with the Adventure service dept. When I checked in I asked if there were any service specials. Young person said he didn't know... asked if I got any by email or in the mail. So I asked again at the service desk. Said they didn't know but "if there are any they are on the web site". Checked the adventure web site and it indicated a "service managers special" for oil change and tire rotation. At check-out saw that that was the same price I paid on the invoice??? Did I get a "special" or is that another way of saying our regular price is "special"? Common guys, you know but for some reason didn't want to say... or you didn't know and I would wonder why. You certainly would present a better impression by knowing and offering any "special". Asked them if they washed the cars. Said they would. They complied but left the car dripping wet and I dried it myself. They need to visit the Classic dealers in Mentor to see how they deal with the service experience (really friendly and outgoing) and the return of the vehicle (washed, dried, interior vacuumed and wiped down). And they let you know of any specials upfront. More

Sales Staff are Told to Be Dishonest The car buying experience was hassle free, but post purchase, the sales staff was deliberately dishonest. Property I accidentally left within the trade-in was destroyed even after I made specific mention to forward to my home address. After I was informed of the disposition, there was a promise from the sales staff to provide financial reimbursement. Only to find out after a month of waiting for the reimbursement check, management told them to lie to me and not provide reimbursement. If they are dishonest with something this small and especially post purchase, what else are they lying about to save a few bucks...Will never buy a car from this dealership again and will deter any family or friends from buying from this dealership. The rear view mirror on my 2013 Forester fell apart and was dangling as I was about to hit the road for a business trip. This is a known defect: the screws in the mount just come loose. Not only did I have to pay $45 to get a replacement mount put in, I lost 3 hours of time, 1 hour waiting for them to open, and 2 hours sitting waiting for it to be fixed. I previously drove Honda's and Toyota's. In 40 years of driving I've NEVER had a rear view mirror come off! And google it, some people end up replacing these mirrors 3 - 4 times! This is a lousy way to treat customers. More

After reading some of the reviews on here, I was a bit apprehensive about going in there and thought about going elsewhere. I'm glad I didn't. Overall a great experience. Friendly people in the Service area and nice waiting area. The service manager, Mr. Freiberg, even brought me a water so that I could take my medication on time. He made this service department a place I will return to for all my car needs. More

Also, he had the audacity to bad mouth his competition...Worry about your own issues!!! I was stunned!...and not to mention how my 82 year old father was greeted and yelled at because he parked in a used car spot and forced to move, almost got stuck in snow since they made him so nervous... MAKE SURE TO READ THE REVIEWS AND YOU WILL AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS...TRUST ME! Subaru should be ashamed to have these guys represent their brand! Too bad for the Painesville community. More
