I was looking to purchase my households 4th vehicle from Akins. After waiting on Leroy and his associate to "learn the new computer software." I had been communicating with Woody for a week or so before I came into the dealership. He was always courteous, friendly and helpful in our correspondence. My wife and I had done our homework and knew before I came into the dealership. He was always courteous, friendly and helpful in our correspondence. My wife and I had done our homework and knew what we wanted before going to the dealership. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable when we got there. Staff were also very tolerant of our 19 month old son who was wanting to "touch" everything. It was a very family friendly atmosphere. I can't really say that I have ever had a "great" car buying experience anywhere, but the one at Akins was the best so far. Woody had a few other customers he was dealing with during our appointment but he spent as much time as needed with us. The whole experience took a little longer than we had hoped even though we already had some of our financing lined up before the visit. It took about three hours from start to finish to leave with the new truck. I priced this truck at several other dealers throughout the state and Akin's had the best price by far. I would recommend Akins to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. More
