Looking for a used truck, & they had two used Dodge Dakota's. Researched on internet, then visited where I met Ron Marsh. Ron is very easy to talk with, friendly and eager to help. Test drove both t Dakota's. Researched on internet, then visited where I met Ron Marsh. Ron is very easy to talk with, friendly and eager to help. Test drove both trucks, then test drove the 06 Dakota Quad Cab for a second time. Both vehicles had a Car Fax report, plus they show you their internal vehicle checklist and any repairs/service done by their Service Department before the vehicle is listed for sale. Made the deal (received the internet price) with Ron which also required the vehicle pass emissions in Gwinnett County. Paper work took minimal time. Part of the deal was to have the transmission serviced & repair an outside mirror, which they did as we were doing the paperwork. Drove the vehicle for a day and then took into an emission inspection station where literally as I drove up the "check engine" light came on. Failed emission, went back & told Ron who immediately pulled the vehicle over to their Service Department and they took it in right then and repaired it (a bad sensor). I was out the door within an hour. Their waiting area is very spacious with multiple TV's, internet access, and drinks available. Had to drive the vehicle at least 150 miles before emission reinspection. Before I reached that mileage the "check engine" light came on again, so back I went. Pulled in told Ron and again he immediately pulled it into their Service Department. I had to leave it overnight as I had an appointment to meet, but it was ready the next day. Another sensor was replaced. Drove the vehicle and then took it through emission inspection again where it passed. Everyone was extremely friendly, Ron was great to work with, the Sales Manager agreed concerning the needed sensor replacement (about $400 for parts & labor), and their Service Department personnel where very efficient. I had neen searching for the right car at the right price for about a week and a half. I had just about given up and was going to wait til after vacation to continue my search. My husband and I searched online and I went to several dealers, Chrysler, Ford, Buick and drove a few cars and looked at several deals. Finally my husband found a van on the Akins website which looked like it had the features, color and possibly price I was looking for. I went to Akins right away. Mr. Marsh had the van ready for me to drive. My entire experience was wonderful! Everyone was very friendly and the whole deal went very well. Woody was very quick to answer any texts, emails or phone calls. I had a 2 1/2 hour drive and he followed up with me each day from the time I expressed interest from fantastic online photos of the vehicle calls. The time I had to spend at the dealership was VERY quick, they ran the financing through, signed the papers, filled the tank with gas, and i was on my way in no time. The finance man was very nice, explained everything very well. Great experience, would for sure recommend that dealership and would be willing to make the drive again if I ever see another vehicle on line when I need to purchase one. Seemed honest which is a huge relief when dealing with auto sales. More

My wife saw a Mustang on the Akins website that got her attention, and she inquired about it. Woody was very prompt in responding. He was very courteous and easy to deal with. He let us test drive the Mustang, he did not go, which was a pleasant surprise. We were impressed enough with the Mustang that we brought it home with us.(happy smile). Woody and Mike Morgan have been the most courteous and understanding folks we have dealt with in the automobile business. We will definitely do business with Akins and Woody again.
