The sad part is that we purchased one of the most expensive vehicles on their lot and were treated with complete disrespect and lack of interest. There was no professionalism . Mr. Silverman had basically no knowledge of thge vehicle. I asked if it had a heated steering wheel and he said yes..but it didn't. We were comparing to the Jeep SRT-8. He stated they had 2 in stock and was unsure where the 2nd Raptor was located, when we walked into the show room it was sitting behind his desk! (REALLY). He then went through the motions, but by his demeaner and attitude acted like maybe we were way out of our price range. We discussed financing and he said 5-6 %. We explained to him that the credit was perfect and the jeep dealership was less than 3%. His body language, the shrug of shoulders, and smirk suggested he didn't believe our credit to be that good. When I asked him if we could have 10 mins to discuss the deal he would not leave and said something about closing time and what more did we need to discuss because he had offered a great deal. His pushiness was unbelievable. Mr. Silverman needs to learn that there are folks out there who do communicate and are respectful of each others opinion! At this point we were ready to purchase but he was so obnoxiously annoying that we choose to leave. We tried to locate another like vehicle but could not, therefore returned. Only to receive more unacceptable treatment. On our return there was minimal eye contact and no thank you or handshakes for the deal. Mr. Silverman had little to say when our credit came back at 4 points from perfect! We did have a check in hand for $41,000. He knew we were coming for delivery and we had to stand around and wait for him to run around and seemingly do what should have already to be done. The finance guy was business like, however lacked personality. I had left a zipped small attache case in his office and when I asked him if i could look in his office for it he was offensive and stated "IT IS NOT THERE, I WOULD HAVE SEEN IT WHEN YOU LEFT.". Fortunatley, Mr. Burgess the tech delivery manager who was going to go over the technology in the vehicle with us, heard the conversation. He walked me into the office and there was my case. He even shook his head. I then told him of our experience. He stated he would report our concerns. On return for delivery we were told service waS closed and there was no way we could get a front tag holder and would have to return. We asked to just have one to put on ourself and was told no. Mr. Silverman did know beforehand we needed one. There must have ben 100 vehicles on the lot that had the same holder. You know held on with 2 screws! Oh, Mr Silverman did say it would take 40 mins. to install. We did find that Mr. Silverman had given us one with the old tag that he put in the backseat. Should he not have known he gave us one? Maybe not, because he was not pleased when we wanted to transfer tags and he had to take them off the trade-in. I could go on and on about the poor experience, but it just infuriates me to know that after complaining nothing was done. Lastly, let me share that Mr. Silverman never thanked us or shook hands merely just disappeared and told us that another person would be going over the instrumentation with us. MY SUGGESTION IS TO LOOK ELSEWHWRE IF PURCHASING. OTHER THEN MR. BURGESS (THE TECH DELIVERY MANAGER) WHO WAS VERY NICE NO ONE IN THE DEALERSHIP SHOWED ANY THANKFULNESS OR RESPECT FOR US. THE LADY IN THE MIDDLE WAS RUDE, THE FINANCE GUY WAS ARROGANT, MANAGER WAS INSOLENT AND MR. SILVERMAN UNPOLISHED. More
I went to Al Packer's White Marsh Ford yesterday to look for a new Ford Focus. I worked with Jerry Clark and he was very informative and knowledgeable about all Ford makes and models. I qualified to buy my truck by myself at 6% interest. I wanted to have my wife listed on the title. Salesman told me if my wife was to be listed we could get a lower interst rate but she would have to be l wanted to have my wife listed on the title. Salesman told me if my wife was to be listed we could get a lower interst rate but she would have to be listed as the buyer, which we did. I found out later when buying a car for our son that my wife did not have to be listed as the buyer for me to get the lower interst rate but she had only to be listed as co-buyer. I spoke with Lance Johnson about the problem first he refered me to John Lefco to correct the problem. I tried several times to call John Lefco and left messages but received no return calls as I wanted to correct the sales documents and have buyer changed to my name before the title was cut. Payment books are already received and are in her name only and not mine, I am the one paying for the truck. Coorespondents from Al packer only come in her name. Needles to say, I am very upset. I was car shopping and went to Al Packer Ford off Military Trail. The first visit was bad, the sales person was horrible. The Sales manager was nice and promised he would beat Ford Dealer in the Co Military Trail. The first visit was bad, the sales person was horrible. Then Brian the Finance Manager stepped into the process. Said well, blah blah, more money, blah blah, we will see what we can do. I was approved for a loan and then was told the price of the car had changed!! It now was $4,000 more! My payment sky rocketed! I walked out and will never go back there again. Here is your warning, NEVER GO THERE, they will screw you. They give bad car sellers a worse name. More

Im left standing and spinning !!!, I was never given my paperwork or owners manual, I called many times I was ignored, I finally got a hold of jerry clark gen manager, ( beware he is a nasty nasositic arrogant man !!!), ( HE TOLD ME TO NEVER CALL ABOUT THIS ISSUE AGAIN EITHER DEAL WITH PROPLEM OR HE SAID TRADE CAR IN, AND HUNG UP ON ME !!! Brought my F250 in for oil change and was told I had major problems......$985 worth. Drove 30 miles north and truck axels were seized. This is what they supposedly fixed. Cost me $4,200.00 at another ford dealership to fix AL PACKER substandard, lousy work. The operations manager was cocky and such a punk on the phone. Told me that "Mr. Packer doesn't speak to customers!! What a pile of garbage!! Then he told me that he had spoken to the tech who performed the work and my axels were seized when I drove the truck out of the lot. It was evident they did not test drive it, and the jerk admitted they in fact DID NOT TEST DRIVE my vehicle after charging me $985!! My receipt proves it!! Then he told me that Al Packer Ford "wasn't obligated to me for anythig" and "to have my lawyers contact their lawyers". How obnoxious is that? Anyhow, these guys are lame and if Mr. Packer doesn't speak to his customers, then he is an embarrassment to his fathers name and hard work, and yes folks... that means he is lame also!! The place is a joke. How can Ford Motor Company allow these thieves to continue with their antics? Thank God there are some good Ford Dealerships out there that stand behind their work, because Al Packer Ford isn't one of them. I hope they go bankrupt and lose everything, because I'm sure they have pushed more than a few customers to the brink of going broke with their lies and deceptions. I wouldn't give Packer a dime to call a taxi cab to take them to hell. More
AVOID this dealership - typical high presure, rude, unproffesional,unfriendly,..... just the worest. I went to the dealership to buy F150 and when I picked one out went back to the showroom and the sal unproffesional,unfriendly,..... just the worest. I went to the dealership to buy F150 and when I picked one out went back to the showroom and the salesman went to get the numbers from his manager and I realized that the discount was only few hundred dollars and then they added the freight back in that made the price higher than MSRP also they kept the rebates that was offered by Ford and when I asked about the rebates, the salesman went back to his manager and came back with only $1500 rebates trying to keep $3000 the rest of the rebates and after alot of back and forth I had to leave and went to another dealership and bought my truck. DO NOT GO TO AL PACKER FORD More
We purchased a 2008 F-250. An hour into our drive home after buying it the truck started to smoke from the tail pipe. Before purchasing the truck both me and my husband were told that Al Packer doesnt let any used vehicle leave the lot with anything wrong. I specifically asked what their return policy is and I was told there is no return policy but we had 60 days to return the vehicle and exchange it for something of equal value. When I told our Salesman that we wanted to return the truck he said we couldnt and that they dont have an exchange policy so basically both my husband and I are being called liars. I spoke to one of the managers and he seemed annoyed and was short on the phone with me. He then told me that I need to deal with Ford direct and they cant do anything to help us. I then wrote a letter to the General Manager a couple weeks ago and still have not heard back. We have had our truck for 7 weeks and it has been back to our local Ford 4 times and has to go back again in a few days!! More
We recently purchased a used vehicle from the dealer and felt that we were pressured throughout the process to take the vehicle home that day while not getting specific answers on cost and rates. We worked with the salesperson to obtain the interest rate and final cost. When we discussed what we need and were looking for on cost and rate, the salesperson said it would not be a problem however we were never given final specifics until the end of the sales process. At that point we were told they could not get us the interest rate we could get elsewhere and that they could not come down to the cost number we were looking for. We took delivery of the vehicle and were able to obtain an even better interest rate elsewhere than what we were asking for. When we got the vehicle home we looked it over and found a couple of minor items that we took back and requested to be fixed. The manager said that this is not something they do and we should have identified them before we left the lot. When I explained the problems we had, he said to bring it in and they would take a look at it to see what they could do. I took the vehicle in only to be told that they were cosmetic items and the sales department would not take care of these items for us. A very disappointing experience and poor service from the sales group. More
While the buying experience was fine, the after experience was awful. The car we chose did not have cruise control but the salesman told us we could add it, which we opted to do. As we both work, and can't take time off, we asked at the time of sale if we coudl have the work done on a weekend, and were told that we could. However, when I called 2 weeks later to schedule the appt, was told that in fact, we could not do it on a weekend. So we had to wait for a day off, that they were open to book the service. I called to book the service as well as to have the key fob which has ceased to work, repaired. I was told that those services were booked and I would receive a confirmation email, which never came. I called back to verify that I was in fact booked for both services and was told yes. We dropped the car off after hours for the service appt the next day. When I called at 10 AM the day of service to find out when the car woudl be ready, the service person had no idea that cruise was supposed to be installed. I was sent to an "aftermarket" person who had no idea why service had scheduled it without letting her know. I asked her to make sure that cruise was added that day, which she was not able to do. We were told that they would work on it that day and finish it up the next AM (meaning we still had to take another day off of work). However, when we called the next day to confirm a pick up time, the service person said that the aftermarket person didn't leave the paperwork and they didn't know where the car was. After tracking her down on her cell phone they determined that they had sent the car off to a third party without alerting us to that, and when I asked where it was they wouldn't tell me. I demanded they get that information and call me back or I would report the car stolen. They called me back with the name of a third party vendor I could never track down, and said I could pick my car up when it was returned at 6:30 or 7 that night or they could call it back with the service not complete, it was my choice (what a choice!). It's 1PM now and who knows if it will be there when I get to the dealership. Absolutely the worst service ever. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! More
