Poor workmanship Service department lacks knowledge and integrity. Had pistons and rings replaced last week. Engine light came on 2 miles after I picked up the car, I Service department lacks knowledge and integrity. Had pistons and rings replaced last week. Engine light came on 2 miles after I picked up the car, I called GM because of the issues they sent me to another dealer in the area that had to replace the valve cover gasket that was leaking oil due to poor workmanship. Good service from new tech I purchased my 2014 Chevy Traverse from this dealership and needed service as I was having a brake issue. Took my car to Biggers Chevy due to the mec I purchased my 2014 Chevy Traverse from this dealership and needed service as I was having a brake issue. Took my car to Biggers Chevy due to the mechanics being on strike and they advised me that I needed a new brake booster and it would take over a week to get the part. I called Piemonte's parts department and was advised that they have the part in stock and to come in. I then spoke with Justin who is the service director and told him my concerns with the strikers harassing and being downright threatening to customers. Justin assured me that he has fully trained factory technicians and to ignore the strikers and bring my vehicle in. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the service advisor Carlos. carlos was very polite and apologetic for the strikers actions and assured me he would get my vehicle repaired. My vehicle was then repaired by a factor tech named Mike. I am very grateful to Mike as after the replacement part was put on my car it was defective right out of the box and made my car do some really strange things. The part that was replaced being defective was no longer in stock and the parts department went to Crystal lake for a new part so I could get my car back. After the second part was put on all was perfect. I cannot thank Mike enough for having to go thru the same repair twice. What a great guy as he went for a test drive with me to make sure I was 100 % satisfied and his priority was my satisfaction and safety. You simply don't find these kinds of people who care folks. Usually it's all about getting the cars out of there as fast as possible. I also spoke with the general manager Rich while I was there as I have known him for years. Rich also assisted on getting my car right and has been there for me since day 1. Thank you for everything Rich I truly appreciate it. As for the strikers. What a bunch of immature children. I understand you want to better your benefits and pay or whatever the reason may be while you are striking. This is between the owner and you...not the customer!!!!! This is not a customers fault that an agreement cannot be addressed. Customers have to come here and be verbally assaulted and get the finger or hear vulgar language? What kind of a person does that truly make a man? More
