Brought my Passat to Alexandria VW because windshield was draining into the car and carpet was saturated. They dried the carpet and cleaned out the drainage tubes but also drained the crankcase by mistake a draining into the car and carpet was saturated. Alex VW offered me a $200 in supplies or repairs but they wanted over $10k for a new engine. Entirely their fault but I had to pay for a new engine and towing to another mechanic. Don't trust this shady business. More

I had the pleasure to own a handful of VW and never have I encountered suck rude and arrogant service. The sales team where the only positive part of this ordeal (Thank you Farouk and Aziz). Good luck working with finance (extremely rude and made you feel like a bother by asking simple questions). When closing the deal they made it very clear they made no momey on the deal and her attitude showed that. Ive had the car for 30 day and already had to bring it in for service, what a nightmare. Zero professionalism and no care for your car. I was given a loaner that smelled of cigarettes. When picking up my car a week later my seats where covered a grease and grime with an additional 65 miles on the odometer. When confronted there excuse was "its standard ". Live by my mistake and go to any other dealership, like any other dealership! Or get a 2020 Tiguan SEL for 31,000 OTD and deal with the worst Dealership ever More

First time was for a battery replacement; when I went to pick it up the price I was charged was nearly double the price I was quoted. They also recommended nearly $2000 in services, including a 60,000 mile service package when my car only has 36,000 miles. I had the same services performed at another center for $650. The second and final time was for a routine oil change. I scheduled an appointment online but on arrival was forced to join the queue, rendering the advance booking completely pointless. Despite an offer listed on the specific dealer site for a $60 change and filter package, my bill was priced at $85. When I asked why the difference I was told it was for “parts and labor” but that he would knock $10 off for me. When I showed him the fine print of the offer stating parts and labor were included in the $60 price, he then said it was for “proper disposal.” I ended up waiting around for hours. This service center has all the warning signs of disingenuous business practices. No transparency, and associates blatantly lie to justify exorbitant prices despite what they themselves advertise. I would caution anyone considering bringing their car here to think twice and to look into any other service center. Buyer beware! More

no appt. service visit. Went to this dealer for a service on my Jetta hybrid. I was from out of town and needed to find a local one for my VW needs. I met with Mr. Rick Coll Went to this dealer for a service on my Jetta hybrid. I was from out of town and needed to find a local one for my VW needs. I met with Mr. Rick Collins who was great. He gathered my info and got me in and out without waiting around all day. He was honest and helpful on info I asked about. He took me over to the parts dept. where I had a questions about tires for my hybrid. That's where I met Mr. Fred Mayer, who was great also . He inspected my veh. and gave me an honest answer to my questions. He also was great to have a conversation with. I have to say, both Rick and Fred are a GREAT asset to your dealership. Being Honest and humble is what both have. Keep up the good work that you do. More

Above and beyond Was visiting DC recently and wanted to have my daughters VW Tiguan looked over as she is moving from the area and I wanted to make sure brakes and res Was visiting DC recently and wanted to have my daughters VW Tiguan looked over as she is moving from the area and I wanted to make sure brakes and rest of care were all ok. I assumed that with 46,000 miles on the car that the brakes were close to needing replacement- I was prepared to have that work done. Scheduling the service was as easy as it gets, did that online the night before and had plenty of options to work with for times. I also reserved an Enterprise rental car, figuring the service would be most of the day and didn't want to wait there. When I showed up in the morning, was greeted by the staff who took the car to the service area. I then met with the service advisor, Rick Collins and explained what I was there for. Rick was amazing- advised that the brakes, even at 46k might be fine but that he would get the car in and have it looked at and advise from there. About an hour later, Rick advised me that they did a multi-point inspection on the car. Brakes were only 2/3 worn - nothing advised. They found two pieces of metal in one tire- but were able to remove and did not need further repair (no leak). They advised a couple of service items likely to be needed in the next 12 months or so- but nothing today. They brought the car out of the service area- all washed and looking great- and handed me an invoice summary- NO Charge! That is what I call above and beyond- would recommend this dealership to anyone based on the way I was treated. More
