Kia service at Baton Rouge Kia was a very frustrating event. The TPMS system on my EV6 when working shows the tire pressure on each tire and is shown on the display. The tpms quit working and just displays CHECK TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR “SYSTEM” The mechanic after 2 1/2 hours comes out and says that there’s a slow leak in one of the tires it has 36.6 psi and because of this the System is out. Now I’m not a certified kia mechanic but It seems extremely unlikely that a slow leak would cause system failure. I knew the tire had a very slow leak and kept a close watch on it. It was losing about 1 psi in 3 weeks or so. I could write a book about other problems wit my EV6. Main issue is it appears to be wide spread incompetence and lack of training at all kia service locations I have encountered. More

After being strung along for several days, continuing to be given the same deal I made very clear wouldn't work, I was literally screamed at over the phone, belittled, disrespected, talked to and treated in a way I doubt would have happened if I were a man instead of a woman. After listening to the MANAGER I was speaking with both scream at me and beat his fists on his desk for quite some time, before I was hung up on I was told to "Be Gucci". Be. Gucci. I'm not sure what Kia's policies are but I doubt any of the things I had to deal with yesterday are one of them. By far the most unprofessional and disrespectful company I've EVER dealt with. I highly suggest you take a close examination of your “management" if your company wants to be able to find success against internet dealerships. More
My experience with Kia on Seigan was described as one from xxxx. I had to get my own rental car without assistance from the service advisor and I had to call about my own warranty because the people ther from xxxx. I had to get my own rental car without assistance from the service advisor and I had to call about my own warranty because the people there were incompetent about the warranty process. It was hard to get in touch with someone because no one would answer the phone. My experience was truly a nightmare. Someone broke into my mother's car and stole her eyeglasses, and went through all her personal belongings. The personnel in the service department confirmed this situation, but they could not confirm which staff member opened the car and assessed my mom's personal items and information. I called the police and my mom filed a police report. This is bad customer service. More

They sell cars but not care about the service on the cars they sold. I bought 2021 Telluride November last year. This one recently had crack on the passenger side door window. All Star Kia asked me to come without knowing they do not have right windows. They just added more cracks during the openning the side of the door. Then, they say that they cannot receive a right eindow because of problems manufacturer and UPS. Near two months have passed and I vidited three times during the time, because they never updated me. Instrad , they are just boasting they will fix it, if all problems arre solved. My fundamental question is who can receive the right parts, if a dealer service cannot? I suspect it is only because of their lack of respondibility. More
In my 29 yrs in service, training, leadership, and sales ... I am #9 out of 21 people since Feb/ Mar 2018 that say this place is unrecommendable. I am dealing with the Service Dept. and Nicholas. 👏 They were able to get me a rental when I could not on Mardi Gras through Enterprise down the street and they told me the obvious issue of a bad starter. I am still waiting on an overdue call as to why my car stalled out. I am losing money, time, and patience that could have been used on buying a car. I am going to take a chance to say they have so much business or they're too busy fixing mistakes, they don't need more business. BTW a new starter here cost me over $750 in various ways. Can you afford that money? I am no mechanic or fool. Double check before you buy, take care of your car, and save your money. Invest in yourself first. Applied and shared knowledge build empires. Fantastic Service Chris and Erik worked with my wife to get her back on the road, ON A SATURDAY ! I was 650 miles away and needless to say , Very Anxious regarding her Chris and Erik worked with my wife to get her back on the road, ON A SATURDAY ! They break window and will not replace it Never will I be a customer of this company again. Window is in perfect shape and is rolled down but will not come back up. They call me the next morning and the window is shattered from an impact on the top. They go on to tell me they have had to replace A LOT of window modules on KIA's but they cannot replace the $445 window. Terrible customer service!! More

I bought my 2010 KIA van from this dealership in June 2010. Today is March 2013. I have had 2 headlight go out, had to get a new battery, and got a estimate of over $2000 of repairs that need to be made. 2010. Today is March 2013. I have had 2 headlight go out, had to get a new battery, and got a estimate of over $2000 of repairs that need to be made. The van has 63000 miles on it. And to top it off last week I had the break switch go out (so I could not get the van in gear) that would cost almost $300 to fix. I took it in to see what was up with it. The shop was closed so they let me bring home a Soul. This is a nice car but to small for my family. The next day I went back up to dealer and that's when I found out that the brake switch went out. My wife and I test drove a Sorento. While we were test driving it. I was telling the salesman all the troubles we have had with the van. And he said sounds like you got a lemon. So we decided to try and get it. I told the salesman what we owed on the van and that I thought that with all the troubles that we have had with it that I would like to get what was owed on it. Or atleast $1000 under. There are some dents where someone backed in to it. He comes back with $5000 less of what I owe. And told me because the van was dirty and the work that needs to be done. I told him I had not cleaned it because it had broke down on me and I just brought it in. Then he told me that maybe I would just have to "bite the bullet". They did try and get me in the Sorento but would not go up much more on the van so I was way to upside down on it to get the car. They did fix the the brake switch and did not charge me. The GM did not even talk to me when I went up to get my van. He even walked right by me and looked at me and sent a nother salesman that I had not dealt with to give me my keys. More
