Friendly sales, disreputable finance manager My experience at Turner Hyundai was not a good one overall. I was treated well by the sales staff while purchasing, but was charged for an extended My experience at Turner Hyundai was not a good one overall. I was treated well by the sales staff while purchasing, but was charged for an extended warranty I repeatedly refused by the hard-sell finance manager. When this was brought to the attention of the dealership, they called and asked me to come into a meeting with the business manager, salesman, and finance manager to straighten the issue out. When I got to the dealership my salesman ushered me into the finance guy's office and left. The guy was arrogant, unapologetic, and treated me like he was granting me a favor despite the fact he had slipped the extended warranty into my agreement behind my back. He said it was a misunderstanding; yet my father was beside me the entire time and was a witness to me declining all of the extended warranty offers. He even acted like I was ungrateful after he had reduced the rate for the warranty I declined but was charged for. While I was promised by the salesman over the phone the entire amount would be refunded, it was pro-rated for the miles I had driven. (less than a month's time for me to get my payment sheet and figure out there was an extra amount). No meeting was held at all. While I am sure this sort of thing does not happen to everyone going to Turner Hyundai, you need to ask yourself if it is worth the chance it will. I feel like a fool having trusted them with my car purchase and will not consider ever dealing with them again. While I had almost no contact with the service department, I will be going to a dealership in another city to have service as any trust I had in Allen Turner Hyundai is gone. More
