I started looking for a new car last month and I've always had Hondas. I really wanted a honda again, but the quality of the brand just seems to have gone down. I looked at everything out there and my husband kept saying just look at a Hyundai.... because the warranty was great. I really didn't want to, but when we got to the lot I spotted the élantra GT sitting there and instantly liked it. I checked around and got some prices and we went to Allen Turner. We were met by Rob Godwin in the parking lot. We already knew that if we drove the car and liked it we were going to make a deal. Rob came with us on the test drive and I was elated that he didn't sit in the back seat and carry on about how wonderful the car was or try to push the car or brand on us. I loved the car so when we got back into the dealership we discussed the prices I had received from various dealerships. This dealership matched the lowest price from another dealership and even beat it. There was very little back and forth stuff that drives me nuts. We got a phenomenal price and overall it was a wonderful buying experience. I was reluctant to believe at first that the dealership could have such wonderful ratings on this dealer rater website.... because I know another dealership had wonderful ratings too but it was the worst buying experience ever. I now believe that reviews were actually legit. Working with Rob was great and Matt Farley who did our paperwork was great as well. He was very, very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. The night we bought the car it stormed and the power went out at the dealership, but Matt made sure he got us what we needed so we could go home not have to wait for the power to come back on. Rob was extremely knowledgeable about the car and did not use any high pressure sales tactics. He allowed us to drive the car and make our own decisions. The only convenient day for us to come in and purchase the car happened to be Robs day off, but he gladly came in anyway and took care of everything. He never made us feel rushed, and seemed to genuinely care about our car buying experience. I will certainly recommend Rob Godwin and Allen Turner Hyundai. If anyone else is dead set on buying a Honda, I would strongly recommend you check out a Hyundai. This Élantra GT is nicer than the last three Hondas I have owned. More

We started this process over three months ago, putting feelers out and checking out new autos. Went with Hyundai because of satisfaction with Santa Fe. We came in on a whim, After finding a car we were going to buy at another dealership. but had to wait one hour for the manager to come in. Stopping by we were met by Rob Godwin. Then he left to get a price sheet and we discovered this Cadillac. Total game changer checked it out went on a test drive. Rob was great he was a genuine person. Not a salesman, a person like you reading this. By the end of the day we left with a car we were not expecting, let alone didn't even think we could ever have. Cadillac CTS white with sunroof. It's the first time I didn't feel pressured, especially at the money part. We got a great car at a great price. The type of car we didn't even consider. It's day 2 and I'm still stoked we have a Cadillac CTS in our driveway. Thank you Rob Godwin. My first contact with Josh was last fall shortly after a funeral. I needed some information and really needed to get my mind off sadness. Josh was very professional and was an excellent listener. He made no attempt to sell anything to me on that visit, just gave me his card and asked that I look him up when I was ready. The person who gave me a follow up call the next day was also polite and professional. I returned 6 months later after doing an online search of available cars, and Dwight helped me locate Josh who patiently helped me find the right car! I appreciated being allowed to drive the car to a nearby city to allow my personal mechanic to check out the vehicle. They said "Exceptionally clean mechanically for an '05 vehicle." They could not find a single thing needing attention. My final choice was for an '07 Kia Sportage strictly for structural reasons: I am 4'10" and that presents its own set of challenges; in this case, height of seat vs size and placement of outside mirror! My financial limits were also respected. The only thing I would have liked to make the whole experience better, was if the service dept. had noticed that the visors were too loose and drooped down, and had tightened them up before I brought the car home. I feel sure they will correct this if I drive back. I recommend doing business with Allen Turner Used Cars and especially with Josh to anyone! Thank you for a pleasant experience Josh! More
