Sales Department Is Great!! Finance and Service are horrible Salesman and sales manager were great. Found my own financing all the finance man was sign paperwork and forward paperwork to bank. He couldn't figure it out and after four hours still got it wrong. Most irritating car buying experience ever. I would highly recommend going somewhere else just to avoid the idiots in fiance. All the fianace department knows how to do is sell over priced extended warranties and high priced loans. Total rip off. I had to have vehicle serviced week after purchase. Not a big deal until I arrived at service department to find a bunch of uneducated idiots who had know knowledge of the GMC product line. Training is lacking and desperately needed. While setting in waiting room I watched them try to upsell xxxxxxxx service after xxxxxxxx service to every customer. None of the service they recommended were within the service recommendations of GMC or Buick. I watched as they used high pressure near threats against elderly women to try to force her to purchase an air filter on a car that was less than a year old and as the women told me had less than 9000 miles on it. The sales department was the only honest people in the building. If they only had some support this could be a great dealership. But as it stands I would highly recommend going elsewhere unless you are really familiar with vehicles and the games dealerships play. Not a good place to shop. More

Horrible service I recently found out there was a recall on my 2003 saturn ion. Mike shaw Buick gmc was the place I could go get my car services at. I look it in for t I recently found out there was a recall on my 2003 saturn ion. Mike shaw Buick gmc was the place I could go get my car services at. I look it in for the appointment at 10:00 and they said it would take 3 hours max.... It took over 5. Soon after receiving my car I got a call from the dealership saying they couldn't unlock my car and I must have given them the wrong key. I let them know that it's the key I use everyday and I've never had a problem with the locks. Well come to find out later that night when I got out of school they actually broke the lock on my drivers side door. Not only that but now the back end of my car is covered in scratches that were not there until I picked up my car. When I called to talk to them about it they started yelling at me and told me it's my problem and that they refuse to fix it. I can't afford to fix it because I'm a struggling college student. Absolute horrible service and they won't even take responsibility for breaking my locks. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! More

My husband and I have been to many dealerships in the past, and we always seem to have to give up an entire day or dedicate an entire day to buy a car My husband and I have been to many dealerships in the past, and we always seem to have to give up an entire day or dedicate an entire day to buy a car. We just recently purchased my vehicle from another dealership, and it turned out to be an all day affair. When we went to Mike Shaw one night (to look for my husband a new truck), we were approached by Lete Robinson and he was very friendly! He spoke with my husband for a bit about what he was interested in and showed him a truck he may have been interested in. Immediately my husband loved the truck! While we were looking it over, the sales manager, Mark, came out with a smile and greeted us. Very professional and friendly man! The next day we came back with our truck for the trade in and sat down to see if the numbers would work. We knew where we were comfortable to be and they was able to get us there and all within 2 hours! That was a great experience for myself because no one likes to be at a dealership all day. The finance department was amazing as well! We were able to get a great rate and it was nice that many of the people we worked with were former military and appreciated/understood the military lifestyle we live. I would definitely buy another vehicle from them and recommend them to anyone! Very happy with my service from them and they will treat you like family! More
HAVE TO READ THIS! This was the easiest, smoothest, well accommodated car buying/leasing experience in my entire life. The magnitude of customer service was phenomenal. This was the easiest, smoothest, well accommodated car buying/leasing experience in my entire life. The magnitude of customer service was phenomenal. My husband and I have been telling everyone who we show our brand new Arcadia to about the dealership and how they were super at working with us and with what we had to offer for collateral. I will be coming back to this dealership in 39 months to return this current leased vehicle and I WILL BE PURCHASING MY NEXT VEHICLE FROM MIKE SHAW GMC! My husband and I were surprised that they told us to go home and that once everything was final with the financing they would give us a call, at first we thought that it was their polite way of saying "we can't help you with what you have as collateral" which was a small down and negative equity from our last purchase at a different dealership. However I was so proven wrong at 5pm sharp as they said they called us and invited us to return at out leisure either that night before 8pm or set up a time the next day to finalize our paperwork. I inquired as to why they let us go home and that I initially thought it was a get out of here ploy and I was told by Mike that their dealership doesn't want people sitting, standing around for hours waiting for financing to be established when they could be at home or running errands. This concept that they have with that theory should be implemented in every dealership. I really appreciated how they treated us, they continuously stated that they were grateful for our business. They all thanked my husband at least twice for his sacrifice of being a soldier and also told me thank you for supporting him in his decisions and that although it can be rough at times they still thanked me. They reassured me multiple times that they wanted to make sure that I had not only a safe vehicle but one that would conform to our ever growing family ensuring that when my husband was deployed I would have a reliable, modern, safe vehicle cause they didn't want me getting trapped in an unsavory side of a new town with the kids, no husband for a rescue or signal by my cell phone. I felt like it was all about my family. I never heard anything at all about things for themselves, benefits they get, horror stories of previous buyers which we heard at the previous dealerships we went to looking for a vehicle....we got treated like royalty and that we were important enough to them that they made it happen. I looked at our credit report and the previous dealership we went to just a day earlier had 9 inquires from various lenders and Mike Shaw only had 2 so I know for a fact that they were minimizing that negative impact on our credit which is very important to me. I honestly will be back to this dealership to do my next vehicle purchase guarantee. I thank the entire team there, I don't remember everyone's name but they did all introduce themselves to us through out the evening but I want Mike our sales rep to get an extra applause for his service as well as our financing manager Todd who explained everything beautifully about our lease since this was our first one.
