No stress carbuying experience Being a first time mom of a young child with a car that unexpectedly needed to be replaced, a new car was not in our plan, or budget. Bill Johnson, our salesman, took not only our budget into consideration, but also our needs to find exactly the perfect vehicle for us. He was patient as we lugged around our conversion carseat from car to car to ensure it fit and connected properly, adding funny stories about his journey through parenthood along the way. He pointed out Subaru's exceptional safety records to comfort my nervous mommy fears about keeping my son safe while traveling. When an unexpected emergency took place with our son, causing us to miss our appointment to sign purchase paperwork, rather than being frustrated, I got a personal call from Bill on his day off to simply check in on the welfare of our son after his accident and a direct email from Bryan Benoit, owner of the dealership, just to send well wishes to our family. As soon as our little guy was all better, the dealership welcomed us back right where we left off, even telling us to bring our little guy in so they could meet him. Negotiations were more than generous, as I felt the sales team truly understood our situation and how far a couple hundred dollars can go when you have diapers and formula in your budget! Once the car was ours and Bill's job was done, he sat in our new car with us for almost 30 minutes explaining every bell and whistle throughout the car so we could operate it at its fullest potential without necessarily having to read through the manual. That was great! I couldn't be more pleased with the personal experience I received from what is often seen as a stressful process and am pleased to say that Bill, Bryan, and the rest of the Anchor Subaru team went above and beyond to make this experience pleasant, comfortable, and even fun! Third Pleasant Buying Experience I personally have purchased three new Subaru vehicles in the last three years from Derek. Every purchase was a good experience with no pressure. He knew what I was looking for in my trade in and did his best in each case to get me the trade value I wanted. In the most recent transaction he knew that I wanted the vehicle as quickly as possible since I was ordering it with certain features and options and one like I wanted was not on the lot. He was able to locate a vehicle with features that I wanted due in to the port for another dealership and arranged to transfer the vehicle to Anchor. He went that extra step to satisfy my request. In doing so I was able to get my new vehicle with all options installed in about two weeks. In my estimation going that extra step makes him a valuable sales person. More
