Peter Frain made the best of a bad situation When I lost my beloved 2004 red WRX, I wanted something cheaper to replace it and it came down to AWD, and avoiding SUV's---- that meant a Subaru. I When I lost my beloved 2004 red WRX, I wanted something cheaper to replace it and it came down to AWD, and avoiding SUV's---- that meant a Subaru. I was willing to go with an Atomatic Transmission, but after I had chosen a used Impreza off the Anchor Lot (sounds like"Ankor Wat"), Peter stopped me and found the last living used 5 speed atmospherically aspired Impreza. We share a first name, and I think a similar sense of humor. I never felt pressured and when the documents were slightly incorrect he had the dealership redo them while I waited. I've suggested his name to my son. More

High Calabler Salesman I am writing this review because I have purchased several Subaru's for different Subaru dealers but Anchor and the Salesman Greig I was one of the bes I am writing this review because I have purchased several Subaru's for different Subaru dealers but Anchor and the Salesman Greig I was one of the best experiences I have ever had bar non. Greig listens to what I am looking for and explains in detail the differences from my old Subaru to my new one. He exudes honesty and integrity right from the beginning. I have to say his expertise and knowledge was absolutely amazing. We had a deal in such a short period of time I couldn't believe it. The last time I was at a=Anchor Subaru I have to say that I was not very impressed with the salesman and his arrogance, I think he still works there but thank god it was his day off. Greig I feel did not waist any of my time and got the job done. I would strongly suggest that if you are looking for a Subaru call Anchor and ask to make an appointment with Greig I. You will be treated right and with the up most respect!!!!!! More

He understood that I wanted to test drive the Subaru and that I wasnt ready to make a pruchase that evening. This made for a very good experience, we took the car for a good test drive that allowed me to get a feel for the car on side roads as well as more main roads; a definite improvement over some of the dealers on RT1 Automile in MA that just have drive up the road, turn around, and drive back down. After the test drive, he didnt try to pressure me with high pressure sales tactics or anything but rather gave me his number as well as a breakdown on the cost the model and what they could sell if for -- which was inline with quotes I received from TrueCar other dealers and such. And that was it, no let me get the manager to try to talk you into buying, no this price is only good today, or other silliness, with the information in hand, he thanked me for considering them and hoped that he would hear from me when I was ready to make a purchase. In the end, I opt'd to go with Anchor both due to this sales experience as well as the competitive pricing for the vehicle and the lifetime power train warranty that Anchor provides. More
