A comfortable and very positive car buying experience. I purchased my first Forester from Anchor in 1998, returning for service for the life of my car until 2006 when I was rear ended by a cement truck, wh I purchased my first Forester from Anchor in 1998, returning for service for the life of my car until 2006 when I was rear ended by a cement truck, which totaled my car, leaving not a scratch on me. I test drove multiple cars at that point, but kept being drawn, once again, to the Forester and ultimately bought another at another dealer, since at that time I lived at the other end of the state. I happily drove that car until now, when I decided to trade in my 2007 Forester for a new one. I again drove other cars, but decided on the Forester, talking to the dealer I had been bringing my car to for service since it was purchased. I felt very pressured in that situation, and made the decision to return to Anchor to look for a car, despite continuing to live more than a half hour away. I am thrilled with my car and intend to continue to service my car at Anchor simply because it was such a great experience to buy it there. More

Greg Washington is an excellent salesperson and treated me like a valued customer. I had been shopping for a preowned Subaru for almost a year prior to going to Anchor. In the other dealerships I visited, not only was I treated like a "girl", but I did not see any women employees or customers in the facility. I was told by the salesmen that a well running preowned Subaru under $10,000 did not exist and was advised of the wisdom of purchasing a new model. Just to try and prove the point, I was pressured to test drive dog and cigarette smelling preowned vehicles. I held my focus and fortunately walked through the doors of Anchor one afternoon after work after seeing a potential vehicle on line. At my pace, without pressure, the process of purchasing the preowned Subaru Legacy Outback with >100,000 miles for <$10,000 flowed easily to completion. That's not the end of the story. Within 2 weeks it was clear that a few things I couldn't have known prior to purchase cropped up. I contacted Greg and he put me in touch with Marcel and Mike in the service center. Marcel and Mike listened to and took my concerns seriously, kept my newly purchased car, gave me a loaner and made the repairs at no further cost to me. The repairs were successful. I plan to bring the car in for routine maintenance as well. I highly recommend Anchor Subaru. More
