Repairs Completed I had put my Equinox in for servicing on 10/1 and it was discovered that a bearing in a hood strut had worn out. The part was ordered and it came in. I had put my Equinox in for servicing on 10/1 and it was discovered that a bearing in a hood strut had worn out. The part was ordered and it came in. I waited approximately 2+ weeks for them to get a loaner vehicle in. I stopped by and checked with my service tech and she advised that they had a loaner vehicle available. She put me in it and I went on my way. Approximately one hour later she called me to advise that the repairs were complete and my vehicle was ready for pick-up so I returned to the dealership with the lkoaner and picked up my vehicle.
