I wish they had a program that would remove scratches which appeared on the vehicle. I thought I had purchased a program of such and found out that it was not the one to include scratches which was what which appeared on the vehicle. The service was good, but the wait time for an appointment was the worst. I had to wait 2 weeks to bring the car in. Once I dropped the car off, I caught the shuttle home. The driver of the shuttl appointment was the worst. I had to wait 2 weeks to bring the car in. Once I dropped the car off, I caught the shuttle home. The driver of the shuttle was very pleasant. Lily, from the service dept, called me to keep me informed of the work being done and the timeframe. She was very pleasant and accommodating. My one complaint is that I'm going to have to bring the car back because I'm still experiencing some issues that should have been resolved when the work was done. More
I purchased my vehicle in April of this year. It was brand new. After a few weeks, my brakes started to squeal. I have taken my Santa Fe to the service department 3 times. The first time they didn’t brand new. After a few weeks, my brakes started to squeal. I have taken my Santa Fe to the service department 3 times. The first time they didn’t hear the noise. The second time the mechanic rode with me in the truck and he heard the squealing and applied some type of lubricant to the brakes. The squealing returned. I took it back to the service department, the mechanic rode with me and heard the noise and suggested I come back after reaching 1000 additional miles to see if the noise stops. I told him absolutely not. Then he suggested I call Hyundai Customer Service Department and issue a complaint. I did call and now a case has been established. I am awaiting a solution. I believe no one should ride in a new vehicle hearing the squealing of brakes or any other abnormal sounds with less three moths of ownership. This issue can be resolved by replacing the brake system or finding a similar vehicle in excellent condition at no additional cost to the buyer. I rather have my vehicle repaired. I loved the Santa Fe when I brought it. I had a Santa Fe before purchasing this one and had no problems at all. I don’t think it is a Hyundai problem but maybe someone blinked during construction of the braking system on the passenger side. Please fix my Santa Fe soon. There are no braking recalls on 2021 Santa Fe. Thank you. More
