I had been on the search for a pre-owned Hyundai Sonata for a few weeks when I came across Antwerpen Hyundai in Clarksville. I called in to check on availability and spoke with Anthony. He was eager to help right from the start, checking on three different cars for me - from exterior/interior colors to mileage and price - he called me back within 5 minutes to discuss my options, telling me he had even gone outside to double check as he knew that I really wanted a particular interior color. Once I arrived at the dealership to test drive the Sonata I felt welcomed and at ease. Anthony was a joy to work with and extremely personable! Once I had made the decision to purchase the car, I worked with Paul in finance, and again, was met with an extremely pleasant experience. He explained everything to me from dollar amounts to warranty coverage so I knew what I was getting. Oh, let's not forget that both Anthony and Paul stayed until well after 10:30 to finalize the sale (the sales floor closes at 9!). I spoke with Ron via email to get a quote on a new Hyundai Elantra. He gave me an out of door price that is within my budget. After I emailed him saying I am interested in the car, he never responded Hyundai Elantra. He gave me an out of door price that is within my budget. After I emailed him saying I am interested in the car, he never responded back to me. I emailed him again and waited. He still didn't respond back. I emailed him again and he still didn't respond. I decided to call him and he told me that yeah he received my emails and before I could ask him why he didn't reply, the phone line got disconnected. I thought he would called me back, but he didn't. When I tried calling him back, he didn't answer. The next day I called him again and he told me I should have been the one to call him yesterday when the phone line got disconnected. Not wanting to waste my time arguing with him over pettiness, I got straight to the point about being interested in the quote he offered me. He told me the car he quoted me is no longer there. It was sold last weekend. However, he quoted me on Monday so I know he was lying. He gave me another quote for $500 more than what he originally quoted me. My overall experience with Ron has to be one of the worse. He is very unprofessional on the phone. He answers the phone by saying "yeah wassssup!" I also don't appreciate him playing games with me and lying. My advice to car buyers is to go to the dealership and don't bother with online quotes. I am sick and tired of receiving good quotes for a car that isn't even at the dealership! More
