I am writing to formally request a refund for services rendered at the Nissan Baltimore location related to the replacement of my vehicle’s battery. On 1/19/26, I brought my 2022 Nissan Sentra (approxima rendered at the Nissan Baltimore location related to the replacement of my vehicle’s battery. On 1/19/26, I brought my 2022 Nissan Sentra (approximately 60,000 miles) in for service and was informed that my car battery was deeply discharged, measuring 264 CCA out of 510 CCA. I was advised that this was a critical issue and that the battery required immediate replacement. Based on this assessment, I paid $435 for repairs, including the installation of a new battery. Less than 24 hours later, my vehicle would not start. I required assistance from a coworker to jump-start the car. Due to this ongoing issue, I brought my vehicle to the Nissan dealership in Bowie for further inspection. After their evaluation, I was informed that the battery was not the root cause of the problem. Instead, the issue was identified as a damaged ground component responsible for charging the battery. I had to pay even more money to have my car repaired. Because the original repair did not resolve the issue and the battery replacement was unnecessary, I am requesting a full refund for the battery and related charges from the Nissan Baltimore location. I will be providing supporting documentation from both Nissan dealerships to substantiate this claim and demonstrate that the original diagnosis was incorrect. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed promptly and that appropriate reimbursement be issued. Please let me know if any additional information is required from my end.
