It was ltaken through deep mud puddles off road and was used and abused by 2 toddlers in car seats eating pounds of gold fish crackers among other things. The beach ended up inside my sweet ride.I took my truck to Apple Honda in Riverhead to John. He gave me a loaner and in one afternoon on a very hot day transformed my little Honda into a brandnew beauty. They are miracle workers!!! I could not believe it. It was so nice and clean it could have been in the showroom.Many Thank Yous to everyone involved. You people are the best on LI. Sincerely Judi More

Absolutely Horrible. Shady. We were sold a 2016 Honda Pilot which we were told just came back from a lease. We started having problems as soon as we brought it home. We realized We were sold a 2016 Honda Pilot which we were told just came back from a lease. We started having problems as soon as we brought it home. We realized the next day that the trunk was soaking wet and the whole car smelled. We called the man who sold us the car joe, we brought it there and he confirmed the trunk was wet. He said maybe they cleaned it and didn’t let it dry he said let it air out over the weekend. Weekend comes and goes car STINKS like mold and trunk is still soaking wet. Then I get an email from Honda stating the car is due for service, an oil change, we hadn’t even had the car a week. We call the man and he tells us to call service. We leave a message service never calls back. The next day we call man again he says “apparently there was a water leak I made an appointment with service for you guys on Monday” it was like wensday. The car absolutely stinks so my husband decides to try to steam clean the trunk while doing so we find MOLD all over third row and seat belts. Then on Thursday the car seems to not be switching gears correctly. The rpm needle keeps going back and forth and the car is stuttering. Finally Monday comes. We bring car and tell them all the problems service guy says he will try to have it back to us tomorrow. That night comes service calls and says there is a water leak and they are replacing the back carpet. Tomorrow comes and goes so I call wensday and ask about the car. The man now says there was no water leak. Someone must have just spilled somthing and that my transmition needed servicing (reason for rpm and stuttering). That it needed oil a filter and an update and said he would try to have it back by Friday. Friday comes and goes now it’s monday still no word. My husband calls to find out what’s going on and they says they are waiting on carpet. As I’m writing this it’s friday. ALmost 2 weeks. We are furious. I have tried called the pre owned manger I have left voice mails and he won’t call me back and everyone always tells me he is either not in or with a customer. Will never buy from Honda ever again after this. Disgusting customer service and how they can sell a car without checking it after it “just came back from a lease” is unbelievable. More

Forced Negotiations Car dealerships get a bad rap. They are in business to make money and customers want a “great deal”. The two concepts are incongruous. There are winners and losers and if you want the dealership to last long enough to service your car, the salespersons must win more than lose. That said, my saga is as follows: After six years as a Honda leaser, with no missed or late payments, I switch Honda dealerships and went to Apple Honda. We made a dealership friendly deal and I didn’t watch my back carefully. Apple Honda did not place this lease with Honda Finance, but with a different leasing company, Cal Automotive. I didn’t realize this until the second payment was due. My fault. I gained nothing for 72 consecutive, non late payments. Next, after I was tired of waiting for the car to be made ready, I was introduced to the finance man. This man slipped in an “auto butler” deal that I never used. Again, my fault. Not the best deal, but I can’t complain. I returned a week ago to see if we could make a deal. This time I went with the knowledge of the previous experience. The negotiations were on point and relatively quick. My parameters were specific and relatively unyielding. My salesman, Bill Fusco, was persistent and tried to get me to “sign”. He brought in Charlie G., a sales manager, and he helped Bill to close the deal. Charlie told me not to tell anyone about the great deal I made, but in reality, the dealership won. The lease was put through Honda Financial. The only objectionable part of the deal was being sent to the finance man to sign the papers. He did his job, and tried to slip an item into the deal that was already omitted and agreed upon. I stood firm and when he checked, he confirmed my view. I signed and left with a car of my choice and at my price. The saddest part of this negotiation is that the buyer must be vigilant. I’ve seen several negative reviews of different dealerships and feel it incumbent upon me to say, dealerships are there to sell cars and give cars away. This dealership is honest and fair. The service department is superior and conscientious. If you expect anything more from a dealership, you are fooling yourself. Honest and fair. More
