I got a call partway through the day saying they did not actually have the part for the warranty repair and to bring it in next week. Today, the repair was completed but they did unauthorized work on my vehicle and would not return my keys without payment. Absolute scam artists. Would never return. Will be driving to Harrisburg to car shop for my wife and daughter. More
Went to Ciocca Subaru York with no intention of purchasing. No pressure, after a test drive we realized it was the right car at the right time. Love my CrossFit! A pleasure to drive. Tom Kerns in York was great. No pressure, just facts. I’d highly recommended him. More

In November of 2024 we went to Ciocca Subaru of York for a recently listed preowned vehicle. We were told that we could test drive the vehicle in a day or two because It hadn’t been reviewed by their mechan a recently listed preowned vehicle. We were told that we could test drive the vehicle in a day or two because It hadn’t been reviewed by their mechanics, but there was an extreme amount of interest and if we wanted this vehicle, we should put a deposit down immediately. Within a few hours (not days) the vehicle was “ready” for us to drive and/or purchase. After test driving the vehicle and being assured 100% that they checked every inch of this vehicle and it was cleared to go, we started the purchasing process. We then began a 2+ hour process of paperwork. The salesman added things to our bill that we previously refused each time he gave us something new to sign (extended warranty, gap insurance, paint coating, etc.). He would then outright refuse to take them off. (These items added over $5,000 to the total.) When we said we wouldn’t buy the car, he stopped upselling. After two hours of this, we were told we couldn’t have the car that night because they didn’t have the title yet, with a list of excuses. We had already given our trade-in title to them. We left that night without the “new” vehicle and they kept our trade-in title. (We were exhausted and hadn’t thought that through.) The sales manager promised the car the next day. We rearranged our schedules to pick it up after work. During the day, the salesmen called and said it wouldn’t be possible to get the title that day and to come tomorrow. That wasn’t an option for us. After calling the sales manager, he was confused why we were told that because it was sitting on his desk. The salesmen had lied because he wanted to leave early that day. We immediately went in and picked up the car. Within 48 hours the check engine light came on. (We had a 30 day warranty.) Called to tell them and they said it wasn’t covered. I asked how they could know that over the phone. After several phone calls back and forth the service manager(the only person who didn’t lie to us repeatedly) stated they would check it and fix it. Waited several days to be told it was a major electrical problem, the cooling fan and various other issues. (Also still needed them to replace the taillight that “no one knows how it got broken” during their inspection.) They kept the vehicle for a month, stating a special mechanic, that was extremely busy, needed to complete the work. After getting our vehicle back (conveniently after our warranty expired) everything was fine for about two weeks. The new fan they replaced rubbed a hole in the radiator hose causing antifreeze to pour out of the vehicle. We took the vehicle to another garage and were told the fan had seized and was probably a used fan and hose and possibly not the correct ones for the vehicle which caused the hole and seizing. Long story short, be careful purchasing a vehicle at these dealerships, not sure if the ownership changed their customer service or we got lucky with other vehicles in the past. Yes, we refused the extended warranty, we have purchased it in the past and Apple (now Ciocca) made every excuse why issues weren’t covered. More
