Last month I purchased a brand new 2026 Acura RDX for $60,000 cash. The next day I noticed that the trunk door was misaligned with a greater gap on the right side. I drove to the dealership and was told $60,000 cash. The next day I noticed that the trunk door was misaligned with a greater gap on the right side. I drove to the dealership and was told to go to service. The service agent said that it’s nothing dangerous and that water won’t get it and that most RDX come like that from manufacturer. The next day I received a text message from the sales person asking if I was happy with my new car. I shared my concern about the trunk door and what the service agent said and I was told to bring the car back and they will send it to inspection to fix the issue. They gave me a loaner car and 9 days later I received a text message saying that my car was ready for pick up. I went to turn in the loaner and to get my car but to my surprise, the trunk issue wasn’t resolved. I asked one of the sales representative to verify it with me and he confirmed that the gap on the right side when the trunk is closed is still wider than on the left side. He said that he would talk to the service manager and the sales person and that they will get back to me after Memorial Day. I never got a call back and I’m very disappointed with this kind of service. I expect Acura ( accurate) to be on top of things, but I guess once they made the sale, they didn’t care. When I was there to get my car, I looked at other RDX and they didn’t have issues with the trunk misalignment as the service agent stated. WARNING! ‼️ If you go to buy a car from them, please take your time to test every feature and inspect it really well. Lesson learned! More
