I took my car in for routine service plus I needed to have them look at another little problem that was starting. When I drove into the service area I was immediately greeted by a gentleman with a frien have them look at another little problem that was starting. When I drove into the service area I was immediately greeted by a gentleman with a friendly smile. He was very helpful throughout my visit. They were able to take care of the problem with my car easily. James kept me informed. Thank you Arlington Nissan for your evening hours. It's great to come after work instead of taking up my Saturday. More
Purchased 2013 370Z NISMO and had dealer install aftermarket Bluetooth prior to delivery. The unit was not fully integrated and the quality was extremely poor. I brought the car back to service and aftermarket Bluetooth prior to delivery. The unit was not fully integrated and the quality was extremely poor. I brought the car back to service and the sales manager agreed it was not what I requested and suggested I work directly with their vendor. First, I didn't work with their vendor during the sale so why should I be contacting them to resolve my issue. I requested a refund and was told I couldn't receive a refund until the vender refund them. I had the unit removed and returned it to the dealer. I'll never do business with them again and strongly encourage anyone considering a new or preowned Nissan take their business elsewhere. More
My daughter and I decided it was time to get a new car since the one we were driving was 10 years old and costing us much in repairs. I contacted several dealerships in the area we were deciding between since the one we were driving was 10 years old and costing us much in repairs. I contacted several dealerships in the area we were deciding between a Ford Fusion and a Nissan Altima. In contacting dealerships I ran into all kinds of salesmen the type that figured I was a woman so they could string me along. And then in my search I called Arlington Heights Nissan in Arlington Height, Illinois. I sent in a request for information and got an immediate e-mail back from Mike Lis, the Internet Manager. That was the beginning of the most wonderful unbelievable salesman – purchaser relationship I have ever heard of or experienced. He was so knowledgeable, polite, caring, understanding of our situation, absolutely the very best salesman in the world. Other dealerships in the area should contact Arlington Heights and see if they would agree to “clone” Mike for them. They could all use him to improve their sales. I cannot say enough about Mike. He gave me his cell and told me if I had any questions to call him. Believe me I did..I think I called him a million times. If he was not available I would leave a voice mail and he would call me back within 10 minutes. Any question I had if he did not have the answer he would tell me he would research it and call me right back and he did. We bought the car a 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 SV. My daughter went to the dealership Friday evening and signed the paperwork. I am handicapped and had recent surgery so then Mike drove to our home so I could sign the paperwork. So accommodating. I never dealt with our actual Salesman, Deon Van Staden, but my daughter did when she was in the dealership and she says he was very, very nice. She also dealt with the Finance Manager, Robert Dupius, who did is job well. I would always go back to Arlington Heights Nissan the overall experience was awesome…and all because of…Mike Lis More
The Service Staff with whom I had more than few interactions over the past couple years were really bad. First of all, there is no professionalism, no greeting. I just get off the car walk inside interactions over the past couple years were really bad. First of all, there is no professionalism, no greeting. I just get off the car walk inside and has to wait for few mins before they even say hello even when I'm the only one inside. When I do ask couple questions, no response or very vague responses after the service is done. Most of the times, they won't top off the fluids, check and adjust the tire pressure or check the remaining tire They don' do even do the 27 point inspection properly that should be included as part of the service. I bought my vehicle new from Arlington Nissan few years ago and I'm not going back to that dealership because of my bad experience. More

I wrote a review a while back cause I was pissed that they were giving me a hard time about checking out the car 5 hours after I picked it up... In the end the problem got resolved and I decided to write they were giving me a hard time about checking out the car 5 hours after I picked it up... In the end the problem got resolved and I decided to write this review again because they aren't such bad guys... If they didn't give me problems over the phone they would have gotten a good review right away. They are okay and honestly can't really complain to much. More
I wanted and needed to share my experience with you (The Arlington Heights Dealership - Sales Managers Team) to hopefully get an explanation or resolution of some sort. I was there test driving 9.20.2012, Arlington Heights Dealership - Sales Managers Team) to hopefully get an explanation or resolution of some sort. I was there test driving 9.20.2012, with a 5 year old little girl and wife - I was looking for a used vehicle for winter time (front wheel drive) as I have 2 vehicles that are both rear wheel drive. I was dealing with Luis Lorenzana (your Internet Sales Associate) who brought out a car...(a 2006 altima) that died on me before the test actually began. That's right - the car turned off - on its own before I got a chance to actually drive off with Luis in the passenger seat and my 5 year old in the back seat! - Luis Lorenzana, you internet sales associate told me the car was out of gas! - It is amazing to me that someone would say something like that while the gas gauge is showing 3/4 of a tank left in the vehicle. The front hood of the car felt and looked repainted - so I questioned it (simply wanting to find out the details). I could tell by the sharp paint edges on the front skirts and the entire hood of the car felt rough, completely different from the rest of the car and the hood was sitting 1/4 inch below where it looks like it should. Luis Lorenzana told me the car was touched up since you guys recieved it into stock - amazingly somehow the other dents/scratches/nicks (that looked like accident dents on the bottom of passenger doors were untouched). In addition to this, the front shocks on this car bounced up and down - not only as I was leaving the parking lot - but also on the road and highway. The engine made rattling noices during hard acceleration - sounded like motor mounts or missing/leaking transmission fluid. After showing my concern with the vehicle condition and also the amount of time wasted, and complete disregard for my and family's safety - Luis Lorenzana asked me if I was ready to purchase this vehicle!!! Thats right!!! I honestly was so taken back by this - I had to ask him to repeat the question. HE ASKED ME IF I AM READY TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE! - Shocked at the level or expertise and lack of customer service I tried talking to Nazar Martyniouk who I was told was a manager. Doing more research I have come to a realization that he is not the manager but a sales associate. Nazar Martyniouk was just completely unhelpful, sarcastic and just plain rude. I have never been to a dealership, or any other place of business where a non-manager personnel pretended to be a manager on duty. I am not clear and cant come to grips with how your sales associates are able to just simply LIE right in your face about the most obvious of things. Its silly! Its immature and not a good business model. Overall - i just want to tell you - my and my family's experience at your dealership was terrible. Being in the neighborhood - wanted to give my business to a local dealer. I dont know how else to put it - you have FAILED. I have yet to receive any kind of customer service responce. I am hopping this email to the Sales Manager team of the dealership will provoide me with some resolution. I would certainly like to know if Nazar Martyniouk is a manager or not. I would also like to know if there is a policy of any sort on test driving vehicles of that condition. I would also like to know if there is policy on dealing with customer service issues like this one - is there someone else I should be contacting, either at your dealership or at a corporate location? I purchased a new Nissan Murano at Arlington Heights Nissan when my current Nissan Maxima had to be towed there unexpectedly as that was the closest dealership to work. It was towed at 3:30 PM on a Tues Nissan when my current Nissan Maxima had to be towed there unexpectedly as that was the closest dealership to work. It was towed at 3:30 PM on a Tuesday. I had to call at 10:30 AM on Wednesday to see what was wrong with it. At that time, they told me it would cost $3,000 to get it fixed. I asked to speak with a Salesmen, and I was put in touch with Sam Barcham. I explained the situation to Sam that I wanted to purchase a new car rather than putting the money into an old car. I told him my car was in their service department and what vehicles I had seen online that I would like to look at. I told him the loan terms I was looking at. He talked to his Manager, Eddie Reyes, and called me back and guaranteed me at 11:00 AM that day that they could in fact meet my requirements by paying off my old car, repairs included, and I could finance one of the two cars I had been looking at for the terms I wanted. My husband, 4 year old daughter, and I went there that same day at 5:00 PM, 6 hours later. They had not even looked at my car yet, and Sam explained to me the cars I was looking at were too expensive to meet my loan terms. I told him I had run the numbers, and they were in fact within my loan terms. He explained they had not factored in the payoff on my old car yet, even though he had told me at 11:00 am they had. I was livid. We proceeded to test drive two cars, and then we began the horrendous negotiation process. He and his Manager, Eddie Reyes, played the game “we have to go look at your car” at least twice, even though they had had my car and knew my intentions since 11:00 AM that same day. They then told me they could not meet my requirements, and asked me what they needed to do to “get me into that car”. My husband was livid, and told them to just fix the old one, and we were leaving. We were stuck, because my car was undrivable and in their shop. We did not want to pay for it to be towed again to another dealership. After an hour of back and forth, during which I had been called “honey” and “sweetheart”, they finally met my exact terms I had stated at 11:00 AM and again at the beginning of the negotiating process that evening. It took them another hour and a half to get the car and paperwork prepared, during which I had to call for my own payoff, and then Sam asked me to give him all 10s on the Nissan survey I would receive via email. 10 days later I received a “Maintenance Plus” agreement in the mail from Arlington Heights Nissan with no explanation at all. I called Nissan, and the confirmed it was a maintenance agreement for 2 years as I had read it. I have gone to a separate Nissan dealership twice now, and the agreement was never processed or paid for by Arlington Heights Nissan. The other dealership has now paid for my maintenance twice due to Arlington Heights Nissan’s incompetent service. I will never purchase nor service a vehicle at Arlington Heights Nissan again. I would highly recommend you avoid it. Rosen Nissan Gurnee, on the other hand, is incredible! More

We purchased 2011 Nissan Versa with 6 speed manual transmision there on January 4th 2012 /a little over 6 months ago/. It was sold to us as "new" with less than 6K miles. We transmision there on January 4th 2012 /a little over 6 months ago/. It was sold to us as "new" with less than 6K miles. We were told that it was their "demo" and was driven by their employee named Sebastian /didn't work there to long/for few months. We paid for it $15,050.00 /cash price/ plus taxes, fees etc. All together over $16,800.00. This car was the "driving problem" from the beginning. First /few days after/ the was a noise -heat shield was shaking. It was "adjusted"by them. Maybe 6 weeks after /with about 8000 miles only!/ we noticed the noise which turn to be "clutch noise" /it took many attempts to find the problem/.Finally: Woodfield Nissan has solved the problem when I pointed it to them. Apparently...the guy /a little over 20 years old/ who drove this car when it was owned by dealer ...."kill the clutch". Mechanic at different nissan dealer/Woodfield Nissan/ told me exactly : " clutch was definetly abuse by some driver" This is just unbelieveble.Lucky-the warranty cover the repair. We still have Toyota Corolla 1995 with 219500 miles on it.The clutch was done with around 73500 miles /over 10 years ago/.My Wife has been driving this car since November 1997 so -I think- She "knows what she's doing". When we decide to by this car-it was standing on the side of the parking lot.Didn't look in all like it was ready to be sell. They assure us that "this is like new car"and they wanted us to take it the same day. "Done deal" ...that's what counts!I suspect they new how and how their worker drove this car. The buying experience at this dealership wasn't pleasant either. Especially the finance guy.He was acting like he is giving us a favor that he is even talking to us. My wife had a credit score over 800 points,so getting a car loan wasn't /I guess..../ a problem, right?Especially with $7,000.00 down payment ! This dealership is just a mess. Very few workers work there for more than one year.I wish to look online before we decided to buy it from them. I went to a different dealership with repair. Later on I called them.I talk to guy named Mike, few weeks ago, /car sales manager/ and he....offer me free car wash and oil change.Wow...every service at nissan dealer is assiociated with free car wash. Oil change is $20/they always have some "specials"/. What a bad joke! BOTTOM LINE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !!! THEY ALSO PLAY THEIR "GAMES" WITH NUMBERs...PRICES.They deduct the "destination charge" from the price in their advertising to attract people to their dealership. Later on they add it on/read other reviews/.I wish I would read their reviews earlier! I would never go back there -even for any repairs. The only reason we went there was because they had a stick shift Nissan Versa 2012 base model there but we diddn't like it. I HOPE MY REVIEW WILL HELP OTHER POTENCIAL CAR BUYER TO MAKE DECISSION TO LOOK FOR THEIR NEXT NEW CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE AND ALSO WILL HELP THEM AVOID A LOT OF FRUSTRATION WE WENT THRU. More
