Overall great experience purchasing my 2023 ID. 4 from Armstrong Volkswagen. Silvana and Gordon worked with me on the sale from test drive to purchase. I originally started with a test drive to ma 4 from Armstrong Volkswagen. Silvana and Gordon worked with me on the sale from test drive to purchase. I originally started with a test drive to make sure the ID.4 was going to be my vehicle of choice. Silvana spent time walking me through the features and allowed for plenty of time to test drive and ask question - greatly appreciated. I placed a pre-order through Volkswagen, but after multiple delays and feature removals on the trim I had chosen, I cancelled my order and went into Armstrong to do a purchase from available inventory. Gordon helped walk me through the lot to look at which ID.4's in my next preferred trim were available. I was provided another test drive with plenty of time to feel confident in the comfort and driving experience. Gordon also walked me through features new on the 2023 and answer some of my question. Gordon assisted in starting the sales process to collect information and work through my financial preferences. From my first visit to test drive through the financing close, I was advised the Stargard GPS tracking would be installed, even on my pre-ordered ID.4, and it is installed on all vehicles on their lot that they sell. I'm not a fan of these devices and absolutely did not want it, but was advised by multiple people, multiple times it was not an option to not install. I really liked the vehicle and the dealer, so I reluctantly moved forward with the purchase and $895 charge for the Stargard. I figured this was a reasonable compromise as Armstrong Volkswagen was not asking for anything over MSRP on the ID.4 itself. I did have to go back to Armstrong about a month after the sale with some questions and Gordon again was extremely helpful answering my questions when I dropped in without an appointment. James, the ID.4 expert, was also great about answering some of my more specific questions about the ID.4 before and after the purchase. Both Silvana and Gordon were the driving force for my actual purchase. The dealership itself was very clean and comfortable. Everyone I came into contact with was very pleasant and friendly. I made a few accessory purchases from the parts department - same friendly experience. I would highly recommend Armstrong Volkswagen and their team for those considering a Volkswagen vehicle. More

No trade cash deal 10 hour round trip from Oregon coast and pulled hard favor to get ride in the morning but no not going to need it. Really very unhappy. There's lots more but that would need to include plenty cursing. More

My experience overall was okay. Staff was kind and friendly. However, I was required to drive from Long Beach, CA asap in order to ‘reserve’ the vehicle for purchase. Required me to hurry up and get on the road for a very long trip. They didn’t allow a deposit to secure vehicle. I am a disabled person and I don’t like to feel rushed. Especially for a long trip. I also walked in with my own financing through my credit inion at 3.29% , then they told me that their cu offered 2.9% or something like that and just very confusing items and I was extremely exhausted and had not eaten anything. They kindly gave me a sandwich. I also told them that I didn’t want their warranty and I would get my own. But it seetms like they addrd it anyways- still confused about that. And why my requests weren’t honored. I will be calling them back to request removal of warranty if I am being charged for it. They said they offered a 6000 mile full coverage warranty- no chatrge- that’s all I wanted so I don’t know what happened. I am still extremely exhausted from the very long trip. I am hoping that they can clarify a few things for me and make some changes according to what I want. Not what they think I should have. I had told them that I won’t take anything unless financing can beat my cu offer of 3.29%. Well it turned out that apr somehow got to 3.99% through their credit Union and they kept telling me that I can always refinance. Again I liked the people at dealership but I didn’t like that they didn’t honor my requests about financing and they weren’t clear about the warranty and it was already a long day and I just wanted to be done with the process and leace More

We had a bad experience working with a salesperson named Samy. He promised multiple times to have our vehicle ready on the day we had planned to pick it up, which entailed taking PTO, taking the train two h Samy. Not only was the vehicle not ready as promised, when he told us the vehicle WAS ready, a week later, we arrived only to find that basic work, e.g. detailing the car, getting paperwork together, hadn't been done. After purchasing the car, we had questions about the service plan and all he was willing to do was share a screen shot of the paperwork. Super UNhelpful and not trustworthy - we would not purchase another car from this dealership based on this interaction. More

Daniel in F&I did his job in trying to sell me additional products and services but was cool when I declined all of them. This is the best large city dealer I have ever worked with.
