This service center gives me mixed feels/ frustrations. One pro is that they have opened the cafeteria so you can grab a bite to eat while waiting. They have also made improvements in having an attendant present when you drive up so that you’re not waiting around for an undetermined time until you’re helped. But even though I always make an appointment, I usually still have to wait. My frustration with this visit was similar as the last time (30K miles ago) when I knew I had to do major servicing. The service advisor (Jesus M) tried to sell me on a service even when I told him I had checked up my owner’s manual where it indicated the service was not warranted any time soon; similarly when trying to sell me tires (they were running a tire special) when I told him I just got my tires last year and the treads are good. I get it, he’s trying to make a sale, but as a woman going in alone, it’s hard enough to feel they’re not trying to take advantage of you, so it doesn’t help to earn my trust. My other frustration that occurred this visit also occurred the last time I had a major service (but it was different service advisor). Just like the last time, the service advisor this time did warn me that it was gonna be a long wait time (they took my car around 9 am, he said it would be until about 3 pm); he even offered to have me dropped off at Sawgrass mall, but I declined as I came prepared. What bothered me was that, at no point during the hours-long wait, did Jesus check up on me or give me an update. Around 2 or 2:30 pm I was growing restless and went to find him. I prompted him to check up on the status of my car, which he said he would. I gave him about 30 mins and had to go back to him to see what was the result. I had to point out to him that I could see my car was parked outside so it was ready. It was frustrating to feel like I was being overlooked after spending my day there (I got out about 3:30 pm). One of the other advisors (I regret not noting his name) who was overseeing customers to help ensure things were generally flowing smoothly ended up noticing what happened and was kind enough to get my gas filled up. I purchased my car from this dealership, and have kept servicing my car there, but I feel that time is coming to an end soon. More
