Our 2009 Dodge Journey began having issues with the air conditioning approximately 6 months ago. Upon one of the first visits the dash was removed & air conditioning "supposedly" repaired. The dash was ins conditioning approximately 6 months ago. Upon one of the first visits the dash was removed & air conditioning "supposedly" repaired. The dash was installed with the knobs reversed (cold meant hot/hot meant cold) but, we could live with that. Then the a/c began working intermitted so, we brought it back. They were not able to find the problem upon several visits but, continued to state that there was a potential electrical issue. The Service department then did "trouble shooting" & replaced one part which cost us approximately $500...but, after having the vehicle back for a few days it began to have the same issue. So, we brought it back in & they had it again for several days & replaced another part for $500. Again after a few days it had the same issues. Upon the next return to the Service Dept (visit 4 or 5) they kept it & gave us a rental & stated they had to contact Chrysler since they could not figure out what the issue was...they did not charge us for this visit. Approximately a week later almost all the dash lights came on but, the car appeared to be functioning ok. We called & left 2 messages for the Service Rep we had been dealing with but, no return call! We called again 9/21 Sat. but, found out that he was off & was on vacation the next week & the next available appt was on Wednesday. We asked about another rental & were told that they couldn't approve one. In addition, the last visit which included a rental was NOT updasted in the system per the peron we spoke with on Sat. On Sunday additional lights came on- the car began overheating-a hose broke - it began steaming-fluid came out & we barely made it to a repair shop. Their repair bill was $500+ for the hose/labor & were told that after being on the diagnostic machine that there was an electrical issue in the dash & it should be covered by the dealership since they had taken the dashboard off & realize there is an electrical issue. We understand that there are electrical issues with this car & other Dodge Journeys. The dashboard issues lights are still on & it may not be safe to drive & we can not continue to pay for repairs for a "known" Dodge issue. We will need immediate action at this point to have the issue resolved. We have given the dealership more than ample time to resolve it. We have now paid $1,500+ for an unresolved issue. We have multiple options at this point; litigation, contact Chrysler directly regarding the dealership, communicate to others regarding the dealership, never buy another Chrysler/Dodge product, trade it immediately for another brand vehicle. Also, the rotars & brakes need replacing again...which is a known issue with Dodge vehicles. On a side note; we have purchased our last 4 NEW cars from Arrigo. Regards, Greg & Jana Reinecke More
Just walked out of Arrigo Dodge WPB. I went in there hoping to purchase a new Charger RT and use my paid off 2007 Dodge Charger RT as my "down payment." The first question I had after walking thru the d hoping to purchase a new Charger RT and use my paid off 2007 Dodge Charger RT as my "down payment." The first question I had after walking thru the door was if the "we match your down payment" advertisement applied to trade ins or only cash down payments. The salesman said he would find out. The salesman was super sweet (Luis). While waiting for my trade in appraisal, Luis insisted that I test drive the vehicle even though I really didn't need to but I said why not, let's go. When we returned to the dealership, Luis stepped aside & another salesman/manager/finance guy started giving me the run down of my deal. I wish I could remember his name because I would LOVE to mention it in this review. He ran thru it so fast in the hope that I wouldn't catch on to his BS but yet telling me he's putting it in "simple terms." Somehow the price of the vehicle was $2000 more than the stricker price. Then he tells me my trade-in was $4500 (which I was willing to work with). However, when I confronted him about the "match your down payment" advertising he said that only pertains to rebates & certain vehicles. He then said that i wasn't giving him a down payment - i was doing a trade-in. So i said if i go sell my car on the street & come back with a $5,000 "down payment" would he give me $10,000 off a vehicle. He laughed and said no!! Basically, it comes down to false advertising!!! I am not a person to make a scene or get angry but I am also a person who knows when she's being played for a fool. I have purchased many vehicles over the years. Needless to say I walked out of the dealership and I will never step foot into Arrigo Dodge WPB again. They should be ashamed of themselves. More
This is the second purchase that I have made here. I have always said the customer service is great. Daniel was great. I would most defiantly recommend this dealership and Daniel Cucu. have always said the customer service is great. Daniel was great. I would most defiantly recommend this dealership and Daniel Cucu. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR AT ARRIGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My DO NOT BUY A USED CAR AT ARRIGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My initial experience with Arrigo was AMAZING! Both my sales person and manager were extremely nice DO NOT BUY A USED CAR AT ARRIGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My initial experience with Arrigo was AMAZING! Both my sales person and manager were extremely nice which made me more comfortable buying the car even though they wouldn't budge in price. I walked away with a used 2010 Chrysler Town and Country feeling happy with the safe purchase for my young family. The sales person told me as I was test driving the vehicle that the reason the dvd players were not working was because there wasn't a dvd in it. I trusted her and the next day when I went to play a dvd for my daughter....reality hit that they really just didn't work. I brought the van back to Arrigo and told them and they said they would fix it within a week. A week went by with no word from Arrigo when all of a sudden I started smelling coolant. Before I could get home I was stuck on the side of the road with a 1 year old and a overheated car. I brought the car to Arrigo and was told once the car is off the lot "ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM" I told them I was assured they checked the car, all the fluids, and it went through an inspection process. They reluctantly agreed to cover half which left me with a near $300 bill after purchasing a $17,000 car 2 weeks prior. Everyone was EXTREMELY RUDE, especially managers Bob and Eric. Luckily, a FIAT manager overheard what was going on and stepped in to help me. My husband was also looking to buy a truck and was dealing with the same sales person who sold me my car. As we were leaving I told the FIAT manager we would never purchase a car from Arrigo again and he assured me it would be fine. Against our better judgement we went back to look at a car we found online. We explained that we would feel more comfortable purchasing the car if we could have 30 days to bring it back and have it checked out if something were to go wrong. Ofcourse it was point blank. NO we don't do that, and wouldn't even speak to her manager. I couldn't even fathom the idea of test driving the car so we walked. After that we went back to FIAT to thank the manager for all his help and kindness and he had one of his very nice and polite employees show us the car. It was a used Ford Explorer that looked beautiful and brand new from the outside. When we got in it the windows did not work, neither did the back air conditioner, the breaks were completely shot, and the service engine light was on. Arrigo was honestly trying to sell a car like that in it's present condition. DO NOT BOTHER!!!!!!!!! If you want a new car I would suggest bypassing the main building and working with Redick in FIAT. He is very professional and friendly. He can sell any car not just FIATS. More
I went to visit Arrigo because of the "$8000 over book on trade in or double your down payment" ad on TV. I finally visited them after seeing the ad over and over again. Dodge had some customer incen book on trade in or double your down payment" ad on TV. I finally visited them after seeing the ad over and over again. Dodge had some customer incentives and I figured it was time to buy a car. They had the exact car I wanted, but they tacked on a "market adjustment" which eliminated the incentives. They essentially keep the incentive that is supposed to be passed to the consumer by tacking on the "market adjustment." Randy also stated the dealer takes a loss with incentives, but not true according to "dodge incentives" dept. The incentives are reimbursed to the dealer. Randy's response to my inquiries was, "Profit is not a dirty word!" I emailed the General Manager, John a week ago but have not heard a word. I give the lowest score in all categories because Customer Service is non-existent (no call back), Quality of work is nil (false/misleading advertising), Friendliness is lacking (snide remark about profit), Overall Experience was the worst I ever encountered (purchased 6 cars from 6 non Arrigo dealers prior). I do not know what kinda of game they are playing at this dealer but WARNING!!!!!!!!! SCAMERS!!!!!!!!! In the car world they call it bait and switch. I do not know what kinda of game they are playing at this dealer but I saw a car for sale I send in an inquiry and I got a reply with my price. Somewhere along the lines the car suddenly has a safety issue. So I asked what was wrong with the car, when can I come look at it and write a check for the car. I was told to "google" the safety issue with the car. How in the xxxx am I to just google that and find out the exact issue with this very car? I just dont get it, you have the car I want at a price that I like and you go off and botch it up like this???? How are you staying open? Who are you selling cars too? Oh, maybe they sell them people and get their blind parents to co-sign for it. Google that! More
