I purchased a Honda Accord from Ascension Honda on 3/21/22 and my salesman name is James “Bubble” Brown. I didn’t get the car until a week later which was 3/28/22 because I was told that the car neede 3/21/22 and my salesman name is James “Bubble” Brown. I didn’t get the car until a week later which was 3/28/22 because I was told that the car needed little maintenance done on it. I left the car lot to find out that my backup camera don’t work and my glove box latch is broken so I never even gotten to look in the glove box I called back to let them know they said they were ordering my parts and it should be in soon. It’s been 2months and I still haven’t gotten the call to bring my car in for repairs. I was back and forth to the dealership and nothing was happening so I called and talked to a man by the name Damon in service department and he said that the parts were ordered and should be in soon it take a long time for the parts to come in and that has been a whole month ago. I haven’t heard back from James or Damon yet. I call a couple of times and was told that they were in a meeting and someone will get back to me and no one ever did. I will not recommend no one to go to this place to nobody for a car. More

Two days after the purchase we were still waiting on a call to say the Jeep was ready. We arrived to pick it up and despite being told it had been detailed there were spider webs all over the back seat. The Jeep had less than a quarter tank of gas upon pick up. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Just days after leaving the lot, the AC isn't working and the power steering is out. We were told by the service manager that we would be responsible for the cost to repair these items. We cannot get Randall, our salesman to return our calls. More
I recently purchased a vehicle at Ascension Honda. Mike Peterson was my salesman. He was delightful. So genuine & eager to put us in the right vehicle. We found one that seemed perfect, bought it & th Mike Peterson was my salesman. He was delightful. So genuine & eager to put us in the right vehicle. We found one that seemed perfect, bought it & the next day, it broke down on the interstate! Waited on the side of the road for hours. Went back to Mike to yell at him. LOL He greeted me with such apologetic eyes & comments that I accepted his apology. We got down to business & he found me the best car that fit our budget. We ended up with a great car, a great deal & a great friend. We will be going back when we are ready for our next vehicle. I highly recommend Mike. He has a kind & genuine heart. Ms Page Cavalier was very incidental in the process also. She went beyond her duties to help Mike with finding the right vehicle 🚑. I want to mention the management also who also went out of their way to make this happen. Travis was the one behind the scene, coaching the bases. Thumbs up from up the river in Baton Rouge! I was lied to and it took for me to visit a dealership in Texas. This Honda Touring wasn’t worth no more than 34,500 and by the time it was financed it totaled almost 53,000 or so. I cannot speak for buying new cars but if you are buying a used car more than 5 years old AVOID this dealership location. I purchased a 2012 honda civic si from this dealer about one year ago. In the maint a used car more than 5 years old AVOID this dealership location. I purchased a 2012 honda civic si from this dealer about one year ago. In the maintenance info, it was said that battery and battery harness was replaced along with AC compressor. AC works great, however the battery turned out to be over 3 years old, and the battery harness was most certainly not replaced as it showed corrosion and dry rot all over it. The car also needed a new paint job, for a week they kept pushing back the date that it would be ready, finally they said “hey the car will be ready today!” So i take a 200 mile trip to Gonzalez to get the car… wait a minute… where is the car? “Oh its not ready yet.” Turns out they pay a third party to paint their cars and he was rushing to finish the paint job. I waited until 8pm for the car to be delivered… annnnd the paint LITERALLY had ZERO clear coat on it. The dealership tried to raise the price of the car the DAY i arrived by 2k for a half finished paintjob, I managed to talk them down slightly, but i ended up paying more than the listed price. So i paid and left with the car But thats not where this ends, they wouldnt give me the spare key the same day of purchase so they said they would mail it. If you were to send a car key in the mail, you’d probably put it in a box right? Welllll this dealership decided to send my spare key in a PAPER envelope and it was stolen in shipping. The dealership refused to send another key for the car or compensate at all. And after i realized the paint had no clearcoat and the battery and battery harness was bad, i repeatedly tried to call them back, the head manager of the store kept saying he would call back, but after that week, my phone wouldnt connect to their lines so he just decided to sweep my case under the rug. Screw you and your never used honda s2000 you like to present on your showroom floor not for sale. More
