This was the most pleasurable car buying experience that I have had. My initial contact was with Bill Jarrett, who is the internet sales manager at Atamian. Bill gave me his best price over the phone and after our conversation, followed up with an email reviewing what we had discussed. I showed up unannounced at the dealership the following afternoon and met with with Edwin as Bill was busy with another customer. Edwin is a very knowledgeable and personable individual and is a great asset to the Atamian sales team. Although I did not finance my car thru the dealership, I was very comfortable with speaking with Ray LeDuc, Atamian's finance director. After spending about 45 minutes at the dealership, I left with plans to return the following day with my wife to pick up her car. The next day we returned to Atamian and picked up a brand spankin new CR-V. It was perfect. Edwin spent over an hour explaining the ins and outs of the car (all the new electronics). The entire staff was very courteous and patient even though we arrived shortly before closing. Our salesperson, Darith Nhem, worked to get us a great deal on a new Honda Odyssey and Steve Redding did a great job explaining financing and warranty options. When we picked up our car a couple of days later, Darith took the time to explain in detail all of the features of the vehicle and answered any questions I had. he also called me the next day to follow up. I worked with Frank Madden at Atamian. Both he and the dealership were fine to work with. They gave me the lowest price on a new 2012 CR-V. I would recommend them to anyone else, however there are two items I have an issue with and would warn you about: Once they get your name, phone number and email address they are like a bunch of hungry wolves. I must have gotten 2 dozen calls and emails from both Frank and the dealership to "come on in as soon as possible to get a great deal on this car..." I even had to tell them to stop sending me emails after I got 4 in one day. I almost crossed them off my list because I felt they were relentless. If you don't want to be hounded, go somewhere else. The other issue is that after I shook the sales managers hand to buy the car, I sat in the showroom for more than an hour before I even could sit down with the guy to fill out my paperwork. The impression I got was that since they already had me hooked on the purchase, they could let me sit around while they continued with their sales deals. After all, I wasn't going anywhere, was I?? He was courteous, honest, and I would highly recommend him to anyone buying a car. The Atamiam dealership was great too. The selection of cars to choose from and willingness to work with their clients was refreshing. I also went to Boch Honda West, while their salespeople were nice, they were unwilling to negotiate on price and were over $2000 more than Atamian. if you are buying a Honda, Atamiam is the best place to buy.
