I needed a recall part (fuel pump) for my ‘19 Honda Fit. Atlantic Honda was efficient in scheduling my appointment, but when I arrived at the dealership I was told that my fuel tank was too full and they we Atlantic Honda was efficient in scheduling my appointment, but when I arrived at the dealership I was told that my fuel tank was too full and they were unable to complete the job. I was then told I could come back when my fuel tank was at halfway or lower. The service rep told me I could walk in at any time and get it done. I ended up calling prior and the service department said they were not taking walk ins for the next 2 days so I had to schedule my appointment and work around my work schedule. When I dropped off the car for my second attempt at the appointment, I got a call 2 hours later and said they sold out of the fuel pump and I would have to keep it there overnight, as the part would be in tomorrow. I kept it overnight and did not hear anything all day. Called at 3pm and the service rep told me they didn’t start it yet but they will be working on it now and it would be ready by the time they close at 6pm. The service reps were very nice but I was given many different messages and it ended up being a 2 week long process to get this complete. I wish I would have been notified that I had to have my fuel tank at halfway prior to my first appointment. More
