Lease buy out I leased a 2011 Sonata and was ready to buy it back. I paid the last payment just before I purchased the car but the payment was not posted. So at purchase I paid the last payment again and was told I would be given a refund , which I never received. The fees I encountered while purchasing was ridiculous. Administrative fee, $374.00, dealer fee, $375.00 which I complained about so they removed it. Document fee, $75.00, Registration fee $50.00, even though the car was registered to me. And the best was ¨plate acknowledgement fee¨ $50.00. I called about 2 months later and was told there was no refund due. I will never recommend this dealership to any one and I am still trying to receive my refund. I called and was given the sales manager and he told me to call back the next day, which I did. I left a message for him and I never got a return call. More

The sales and management team at Hyundai Atlantic worked with us until we were 100% completely satisifed; John Carlito (Sales & Leasing Consultant), Dave Toomey (Sales Manager) and Dan Toomey (General Manager) were caring and understanding throughout the entire process. We felt as if our complete satisfaction was their number one priority. Atlantic's superior customer service truly shined the next day. Unfortunately for us, our insurance company was closed on Memorial Day and we had to comeback on Tuesday to complete the transfer of plates, issue ID cards and the insurance binder. What should have been relatively simple process was nearly a nightmare due to my insurance company's incompetance. Even though the sale was already completed, both John and Dave made sure our car buying experience wouldn't end with disappointment. They worked with us, spoke directly to our insurance company representative to ensure all documentation was completed as required. Car Broke Down 20 Miles From The Dealership! Test drove a 2005 Chevy Equinox 4/10/14 with 77,1xx miles on it , Drove fine but test drive was only 2 miles so the car did not have an opportunity to Test drove a 2005 Chevy Equinox 4/10/14 with 77,1xx miles on it , Drove fine but test drive was only 2 miles so the car did not have an opportunity to get to operating temperature. dealership was unaware of interstate laws with registration. had to wait 6 weeks for the paperwork/registration to process. Finally Got the Vehicle at 3PM on Monday 5/19/14 with 78,xxx Miles?? strange since i had a deposit on the vehicle, Vehicle Broke Down 20 miles outside dealership on a busy Highway approximately 3:25pm same day. Overheated 3 Times Temperature Gauge Fluctuated Wildly . Dealership was not helpful at all and would not offer a solution other than going to a Jiffy Lube to get it fixed. Had to use last AAA Towing to get the vehicle back to the dealership. Blown Head Gasket in My Opinion, Radiator Reservoir Bubbling and exhaust smelled of Coolant badly. Oil Level was 3X too high and Drivers side headlight was out. They claim a 200 Point Inspection? Dealership seemingly Dodged all my calls and concerns about the vehicle for 2 days. Wanted to return the vehicle but Atlantic Hyundai would not accept a return. Vehicle still sits on Dealership Lot. They called me and said it was fixed but I believe the problem is more than a broken Thermostat as I placed my hand on the Thermostat hose and it was red hot and it would not be that hot if coolant was stuck in the engine. I cancelled my Registration and Insurance and Notified the bank of my Intent of not Paying for a Vehicle I do not have in my Possession since they will not accept the vehicle back. very bad experience. and i will Post my Experience everywhere I have an opportunity to on the internet to warn people of the bad experience I had. My credit is surely ruined because of this and I have to consider any action available to me to salvage my credit and attempt to recoup my $2400.00 deposit. Do Not Shop There Unless you have the Car Double Checked. Let The Buyer Beware. More
