Went for an oil change they claimed a belt in the car needed to be changed immediately and our tires were very bad. They wanted to charge me $233 and change for the belt $143 for a tire (you don't get to needed to be changed immediately and our tires were very bad. They wanted to charge me $233 and change for the belt $143 for a tire (you don't get to pick a tire). They told me I would have to wait 2 hours for them to get the tire! Tire alignment would be another $149 and tire rotation would be more money. The total cost would have been close to $600 with at least a total of a 6 hour wait! We said no! thank goodness. We took it to our mechanic who is a friend and he showed us the belt they wanted to change. The belt is practically brand new! There is absolutely nothing wrong with it! As for our tires they are fine also! They are just looking for your money!!! If they want to change a belt ask to see it first. Do not let them "fix" anything on your car until you get a second opinion!!! They try to scare you!!! And I only have the car for 6 months! I bought the car from there also. Don't think I would go back!!! And I think I will tell the Atlantic Hyundai I will give a call to Ms. Heenan at the Better Business Bureau!!! Just to let you know my mechanic would only charge $100 to change the belt if it needed to be done!!! More
