Atlantic Hyundai responded

While the Dealership is sorry to hear that your experience with our personnel was not pleasant, the dealership would like to state and clear up a few items. Most of this issue raised by the complainant transgressed at the time the Dealership was in the process of performing a refund of your deposit. However, the person at the dealership was not the same individual that left the deposit. In simple terms, a male person was trying to obtain a refund for something that a female person charged. At that time, a few extra items needed to be performed in order to confirm the validity of the refund. These extra steps were not satisfactory to the male person at the dealership. Words were exchanged between the customer’s representative and dealership personnel. At no time did any personnel from the dealership direct insults at anyone. The Dealership will not fault either group for a heated-verbal exchange but the insults were certainly coming from one-side. You should be made aware of the following: a verbal threat of violence or provocation of a physical altercation from anyone can be used to seek an order of protection from that individual. The Dealership will protect its personnel from all types of assaults (Verbal or otherwise). Threats of violations will be treated accordingly. There are many witnesses to the actions of your representative, along with video (with sound) which have been reviewed. We do not want to take any further action against you or your representative but if necessary to protect our personnel, we will use all legal remedies that are available to us. Also note, these remedies may include reports directly to an official with higher standings than your representative. (The dealership knows where he is employed) We wish no harm to the livelihood of your representative for the actions that took place. However, his actions had taken place, the threats were made and the provocation of a physical altercation was demanded. Once more, we are sorry for your bad experience. We hope you understand that refunds are usually only given to the person who provided the funds.
