Atlantic Hyundai worked miracles to get me into my 2013 Elantra (which I love). I only buy my cars from them. I was coming off lease of a Honda Accord and wanted something different. My good friend has an Elantra Touring SE and I like her car, so I went to test drive one. Ed was very friendly on the day I drove the car, and started off friendly when my husband and I returned to discuss price. However, when Ed came back WAY too high for what we wanted to spend, he became that typical car salesman, telling us that there was no way they could come down to what we wanted etc. We were paying 100 dollars less per month for my Accord, which retails about 4000 dollars MORE than the Elantra SE. We made Ed aware of what we spent on the accord total out of pocket, and again we were told there was no way he could do it. He went to the managers anyway, and they refused to move on their offer, which did come down significantly on the monthly payment, but wouldn't really budge on what our out of pocket expenses would be. They didn't even try to stop us when we said we were walking out the door. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and reaffirmed that I should get another HONDA, a better quality car, for less money per month and less money down, at ATLANTIC HONDA. I know these dealerships are all part of NY Auto Giant, but their quality of customer service and willingness to work with you are MILES apart. I was very disappointed in this experience. I had previously had a Hyundai Santa Fe from Millenium Hyundai in Valley Stream, and was happy with that vehicle. If I ever decide to get another Hyundai again, it will be from another dealership. We leased two 2013 Sonatas and we are very pleased with the deal we received. Atlantic Hyundai without a doubt is the best dealership to deal with. I cannot see anyone going there to purchase or lease and leaving without the car and deal that they want. It is difficult to express how pleased and happy we are, as we have delt once with Riverhead Automall and there is not comparison.
