Atlantic Toyota, Amityville, NY Service Department I have had multiple experiences with the service department at this dealership, and frankly, I don't know how they could be any better. You can make t I have had multiple experiences with the service department at this dealership, and frankly, I don't know how they could be any better. You can make the appointment online, and you get a confirmation. You drive right in to the service department, where an associate takes the info off the vehicle and records the mileage. You speak with a service advisor in a cubicle that is adjacent to your parked vehicle, and verify the service/repairs you want done. If you choose, you can wait in their customer lounge which has multiple TVs. The work is promptly and efficiently completed, they are ultra professional and courteous, and they send you on your merry way, your vehicle good for another 5K to 10K miles. Atlantic Toyota service department could be a model for other dealerships! More

Terrible I was very upset about my experience there. I brought my car in for a oil change and tire rotation and NYS inspection. I've been there twice before I was very upset about my experience there. I brought my car in for a oil change and tire rotation and NYS inspection. I've been there twice before and I have never been charged for this service because I have the Toyota Care Plan which is good for two years or 25k miles, which my car is below both of those cutoffs. The service dept then calls me and tells me I need a cabin air filter and it's $79.99 which is ridiculous for a $10 part that can be changed in 5 minutes, so of course I tell him no and he tells me everything else is going to cost $140. I told him I have the Toyota care plan and it is no charge. He then says my car is a Fleet vehicle so I don't qualify for the free service. I explained to him I received the service twice already and he said whoever gave it to me before made a mistake. I probably would have paid it but after he tried to rip me off for the cabin air filter I knew he was probably lying about that also. I called the Toyota corporate office and they said they had no idea what he was talking about when he said fleet vehicles were excluded and they said that information wouldn't come up anyways when they themselves looked it up on the computer. They called the service department to tell them and I then I get a call from Them saying there was a mistake in the computer and I would not be charged. I know exactly what went on, they tried to charge me for a free service and had i not called to investigate I would have been ripped off for $200. You can remove me from your system because I can guarantee I will never come back there. More
Excellent Buying and Leasing Experience First, my new Toyota Corolla S Plus is fantastic. This was my first new car buying experience since 1975 (I had used cars since then) and Joe Handerh First, my new Toyota Corolla S Plus is fantastic. This was my first new car buying experience since 1975 (I had used cars since then) and Joe Handerhan made the experience stress free. He's gentle in his sales technique which is exactly what I needed after so many years since my last new car purchase. Quite simple, with Joe there's no pressure, and no pain. I also want to thank Tafawa Lee in the Finance Department. My credit rating was by far not the best, yet Tafawa was able to have Toyota offer me the 0% for sixty months. I thought for sure he was wasting his time. Six days later I returned to the dealership to pick up my new Corolla. During those six days, I made a decision I would trade the car in after the 36 months or 36,000 miles warranty expired. Just to let you know, I've spent years taking my many used cars (unfortunately none them was a Toyota) for repair after repair. Tafawa said "why don't you lease." Once again because of my less than good credit, I didn't think I had a chance to be approved for a lease. Well, Tafawa worked his "magic" and once again Toyota approved me. Tafawa had to complete the new paperwork, but it's such a nice place with nice people I didn't mind the wait. I will definitely lease another Toyota from Atlantic Toyota. Thanks again Joe and Tafawa.
