Throughout the time of my first lease, he touched base with me to see if I had any questions. When servicing my car, all service members were professional and courteous. Before my first lease expired, Frank, reached out to help me start the process, which made the experience quick and easy. The experience begins with scheduling, which was done with ease. I called the afternoon prior and was scheduled for 7:30 a.m., next morning. I was then assigned an adviser, who contacted me prior to doing any work I had not requested. He explained, in detail, why he would recommend filter changes and informed me of the cost. I agreed to proceed with his recommendation. He then asked if would be OK with me if the car was ready a half-hour later than my requested pick-up time. For me to get this kind of interactive service, a half-hour means nothing. The experience concludes with another phone call letting me know the car is ready. More
My Navigation System suddenly stopped working. The dealership simply said that the car is a few months and 3000 miles over warranty, there was nothing they could do. To replace the unit would cost over $2000 and they didn't even offer to help with the cost. I've been a loyal Toyota owner for over 25 years and I feel completely disrespected and unappreciated. My experience at Atlantic Toyota was excellent. It began with a phone call to the dealership because I was upset over how I was treated at another dealership. I live in Huntington so to make the trip to Atlantic, it needed to be worthwhile. I asked if they would match the existing deal I had at the other dealer and after checking their inventory, they told me to come down and that they would honor my deal. My husband and I came down and met Lianne Dunne. She was energetic and informative. We reviewed my existing deal and after checking with the manager we were able to sign paperwork. The only reason I did not purchase the vehicle from my own town came down to customer service. At Atlantic I felt that they put the customers first and treated us with respect. We worked with Lianne who made follow up phone calls and we were able to set up the closing in no time. With the help and hard work of Gregory Carrion the finance manger we closed the deal and drove off in our new car. Thank you again. More

Negatives: Unfair: Original trade-in appraisal and post 30 day re-appraisal $700 disparity (lowball!) the only thing that changed was ~36,000 mi to ~36,800 miles (otherwise same exact condition). NOTE: 30 day delay was because the vehicle had to be ordered from Japan. I can understand a percentage off with the newer models about to be released (which aren't out yet) and the additional miles but that was excessive. Apparently with additional research (after the fact) this is a common operating practice for Atlantic (capitalism without a moral compass). Unprofessional: With the car in the pickup area (as I was completing the paperwork), service staff member (Jose) got the key to the car and was showing it off to passers by -popping open the hood, playing with the HIDs, inviting them to sit inside (they only didn't because I made my presence known). I expect this from a car in the showroom (with a salesman) not one about to be picked up by the customer (the car is practically purchased -hands off). For a car built in Japan, shipped over, waited in port for a week then delivered directly to the dealership, why did it have 24 miles? This isn't our first car built in Japan (which had 11 miles). I suppose it had something to do with the other members of the service team bragging about how they drove our car (but abruptly stopped when they noticed us listening). Why were all the radio presets already set? When I purchase a new car I don't expect it to be lived in by the dealership's staff. Although the dealership was running a promotion, the financing took hours (excessive) and although the car was cleaned when we finally drove off the lot the plastic was still on the pedals and door sills (not properly prepped). I would not recommend any Atlantic dealership for a new car purchase (service from Atlantic Honda and Atlantic Toyota is very good). Beware Atlantic Honda tries to sneak in FMV charges (fair market value mark up for any new models under a year old). The staff's professionalism and ethics are questionable. More

Toyota began to focus on their service departments in an effort to support their dealerships by upgraded the quality, service and customer experience. Amity Toyota is no exception. The place is always clean and the people in service can't be any friendlier. Many of the employees have been there a long time especially Tasha who is the Asst Svc. Mgr. Because of her and the professionalism of her staff I wouldn't go anywhere else! PS: The free bagels and coffee in the morning doesn't hurt the overall experience while you wait.
