As far as the sales department I have heard wonderful things which is why I’m giving 2 stars because I want to give one and was considering purchasing my next Audi here but I don’t believe I will be doin things which is why I’m giving 2 stars because I want to give one and was considering purchasing my next Audi here but I don’t believe I will be doing that now due to how I was treated when I brought my current vehicle into service. 1. Michael Colles tried to charge me a diagnostic fee for my vehicle that is still under factory warranty. He said that because I purchased it used from a non Audi dealer that fee would not covered. 2. They would not accept a debit card for a refundable deposit which I find to be highly ridiculous. I have owned multiple vehicles from dealers nearby on golf rd that were more expensive and they don’t even ask for any type of deposit just insurance card and driver license. The service manager Andy gave me a attitude and didn’t even try to help me in any way. Knowing that my vehicle is unsafe to drive!!! Basically telling to leave because he didn’t want to deal with me. This is how you guys treat customers? Lying and scamming folks out of money. I was able to get a same day appointment at another Audi dealer. Not only did the service advisor tell me that it doesn’t matter if I purchased it used they should not be charging a diagnostic fee since it’s still under factory warranty, they were able to provide me a loaner vehicle with no deposit. I will NEVER be returning to Audi of Hoffman Estates. The amount of disrespect I received from the service department is unacceptable. They are rude, nasty, greedy people that look for any way to charge you. I have already filed a complaint with corporate about this issue on both the service advisor and the service manager. Do not give your money to this dealer. STAY AWAY! More
