The service team needs customer service training here. When paying top end labor rates, you expect professional courteous and prompt treatment from the service writers, and I failed to get that on my last When paying top end labor rates, you expect professional courteous and prompt treatment from the service writers, and I failed to get that on my last visit. I also overheard phone conversations with customers who’d called in and the professionalism gap wasn’t just with my service writer. They also round service hours up to the next full hour. A 1.2hr job will cost you 2 hrs. It feels like a cash grab at every turn. Brace yourself for a labor charge twice the cost of the battery being installed. I’ve found an independent import service center in Dundee that’ll get more of my business after this disappointing experience with Audi of Schaumburg. More

I bought my first Audi (CPO 2018 S5) in May. After a quick 10K miles it was time for my first oil change so I made an appointment with the closest dealer (Audi of Hoffman Estates). The service rep on th quick 10K miles it was time for my first oil change so I made an appointment with the closest dealer (Audi of Hoffman Estates). The service rep on the phone was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I scheduled an appointment and showed up a little early and they whisked my car away to the service department. Shortly after sitting down with a cup of coffee in the comfortable waiting room, a gentleman came up and told me that the person I bought the car from had purchased Audi Care and that it transferred with the vehicle ownership and they were going to change the oil and complete the upcoming scheduled maintenance - at no cost to me! The service was completed and the car brought back washed and vacuumed. The gentleman from the service department assured me that my car was in excellent condition and said he’d see me in 10K miles and thanked me for my business. He’s right, I’ll be back. More
