Bad experience My experience with this service center has been abysmal to this point. On my last car through this dealership, S4, they left the oil dipstick cap off My experience with this service center has been abysmal to this point. On my last car through this dealership, S4, they left the oil dipstick cap off the reservoir following a simple oil change. Lo and behold, while driving, the check engine light activated...I immediately found the issue and rectified. From that point, I had no trust in them for even the simplest of tasks. Now, the most recent visit for my 2017 A7. Coolant draining out from underneath the engine compartment prompted this. Audi’s roadside elected to choose a tow service that took 3 hrs to arrive. The driver was unintelligible at best...barely understood a word. I was apprehensive to start the engine, so I wanted a manual push. Reluctantly, he lazily attempted to push vehicle from my garage, nearly clipping the side mirror. We stopped him before he could actually cause damage, starting the car and pulling the car out myself. He then proceeded to use a flathead to pry the towhook latch from rear bumper, scratching paint in the process. Just awful. Btw, this was AZ Towing from Mount Prospect, IL. So, now comes the actual Audi Hoffman Estates “service”. I have a bumper-bumper warranty on my A7; no external damage whatsoever, so I thought I would be covered. Next morning, service called and notified me that they’d found a rock that had lodged itself into the the bottom portion of the secondary radiator. The rock constitutes an external object which loopholes the warranty. They quoted me for $1,035 before tax, parts and labor. I attempt to argue an alternative both with service and Audi USA that the rock had been propelled from the road, was unavoidable and the front grill of the car had large unprotected gaps that allowed easy entry and destruction of a critical engine component...essentially intrinsic, internal design flaw/under-development. No budging whatsoever. Pay this kind of money for a vehicle; you’d think that they’d at least objectively listen and investigate to help. As this is a lease, you’d be hard-pressed to convince me to put any money outside of lease agreement into this car, as it would be a loss. Reluctantly, I filed a claim via my insurance and they covered under comprehensive...no hassle...deposited in my account within a day of the adjustment appraisal. State Farm has been awesome, btw! But, I still had to pay the $500 deductible. So, the experience still has me money short. This service center, the tow center and the Audi USA rep were awful. Hope I never need to deal with them again. Follow-up: Upon opening the center console on the A7 shortly after it was returned, a pair of $100 sunglasses were missing. The only individuals besides myself with access to the car were the dealership and the towing company chosen by Audi roadside assistance. After searching through their “video footage” of the vehicle while in service (all 5 days... not likely), they found no evidence of theft...shocker. It’s a shame that this low-end behavior is happening with a high-end product. More

My carry bag unfortunately had a graphite residue that left marks on my passenger seat. I was close by the dealership and popped in. My sales consultant Carlo was off that day but Aaron Brunson was near the front desk and said he recognized me from picking up the car the previous week. Aaron immediately brought it back for the team to look at the seat to see what could be done. The car seat was cleaned and I was driving away in 10 minutes. I appreciated his assistance in handling it so quick. Thank you Aaron for going above and beyond even though I wasn't your specific client! More

Airbag recall - trying to upcharge the visit My airbag light went on in my a6. Got letter from Audi a recall was in play for seat sensor. Got on list got call other day the part was in and set up appt. got call from service stating the wires on seat were without connectors. And ask if I wanted them to rewire. Keep in mind seats work and airbag light was never an issue prior to this malfunction happening. When I asked him what was involved he said min $500 and whatever else was uncovered and he said that all the airbags will not work due to the airbag light being on. I declined and told him to fix recall. Got car and airbag light was not reset. I feel that every time I go to Audi Hoffman Estates I’m always being upsold and that service Dept isn’t doing any thing but the minimum for its clients. I’m not happy and in reading posts online the airbag light should of been reset and a diagnostic of potential life threatening issues should of been done without charge. I have owned Lexus and Acura cars for years and have never had this poor of a customer experience ever with them. More

Like a mini vacation Brought Q7 in for 25K service, also performed a recall that I was unaware of. Promised 1.5hour wait, work was completed on time. Pleasant break in the waiting area, good coffee and cookies, wifi, didn't want to go back to work. I was also informed of a screw in the tire, they did not have tire in stock, suggested I go to tire center for repair. Car brought out front , fully washed. Rally couldn't ask for a better experience. More
