In addition, the technician working on my vehicle sent a video showing the problem areas. This video was extremely helpful in understanding why the work was needed, and provided an opportunity to see for myself what the issue was. Lastly, Rick worked with the extended warranty staff on my behalf. He handled all of the follow-up and necessary photos and forms. It was wonderful! I can very strongly recommend the service team at Audi Hoffman Estates. More

Oil consumption settlement I own a 2011 Audi a4 with the 2.0T engine. I received a letter in the mail saying the engine has a defect from the factory and burns an excessive amou I own a 2011 Audi a4 with the 2.0T engine. I received a letter in the mail saying the engine has a defect from the factory and burns an excessive amount of oil. If the vehicle has less than 80,000 miles or is less than 8 years old it is still under an extended Warrenty according to "UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA." Ted McConnell quoted us a ridiculous $5,000 for a piston to be changed. I was shocked and did not expect such a hefty price tag as the document claims the repair should be free of charge. Ted said that audi would not cover the full cost of the repair to fix the oil consumption issue. A section in the document named " free service adjustment for current owners" states, " may have the service adjustment performed on his/her settlement class vehicle, free of charge by an authorized dealer. " this is unacceptable from an audi employee to go against this claim by the "UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA." I am a loyal audi owner and expect the audi dealership to own up to the defect in the 2009-2011 2.0T tfsi models. My vehicle burns about a quart of oil every 200 miles and only has 45,000 miles on the odometer. Being a 2011 this shows I am still under the extended Warrenty. I wish for audi to resolve this issue and to reach out to the Hoffman Estates Audi and have my vehicle repaired free of charge. Thank you. More
