Service person said it’s common and likely happened due to wastegate problem that took out turbo - so I replied with some attitude and said at 37k on odometer? Audi should not have such problems. Asked what Audi Hoffman estimates for fix, told $3600, I replied “that’s not gonna happen, I’ll come pick it up. More

Audi service As always the service was fantastic. This is my third Audi and my second since moving to the suburbs and bringing it to Audi Hoffman Estates. Never very bed experience I had brought my disel Audi for recall service I schedule appointments and no one told me that part for repair recall in back order. I found out couple days later that part was in back order. I got my car without fix for recall and no one follow up on it after to see where part was and how long it will take to get part or estimated arrival time. I still have not heard back from servicing as of now. I took car to contintial Audi in Naperville took Care me. Worst service for Audi Hoffman Estates never Use it again..... More

Lack of trust I developed a flat tire and had to drive about a block to get to a safe spot to look at it. AUDI Connect worked well - had a service guy change the t I developed a flat tire and had to drive about a block to get to a safe spot to look at it. AUDI Connect worked well - had a service guy change the tire in less than an hour. Went to the Audi Friday morning. After a short period, the service writer told me they could not repair the tire and I had to buy a new one. I asked what caused the flat. He said he had no idea. I asked about warranty. He replied that tires have no warranty, but if I would have purchased their tire service package with the vehicle, it would have been covered. I had no choice -bought the tire at what I thought was a rather inflated price. When I got home, I was still upset. Called back, asking for service manager. A polite but not at all helpful person repeated what the service writer told me - my fault for not buying the tire package. I explained that I was never offered such an option; he replied he couldn't comment on that. I asked him what was wrong with the tire. He replied 'I don't know, must have been a road hazard, and road hazards aren't covered by warranty (the warranty he previously told me didn't exist). They may have been correct - maybe I did hit some kind of road hazard. But their inability to not tell me what was wrong with the tire, to tell me I made a mistake and was wrong not to buy the tire package with the vehicle, and their apparent desire to just sell and install a new tire, left me with the impression that I was getting ripped off. I have had previous interactions with the service department here with two previous cars. I have written positive reviews about those instances. This negative incident cancels everything I have previously said about Audi Hoffman Estates I will be back - I purchased "Audi Care' with the new Q3. I received nothing at time of sale describing what I bought - my fault for not being smart enough to ask for it. I can't find anything definitive on their web site telling me what I bought. Six days after asking my original salesman what it is or encompasses, I am still waiting ti hear. Not leaving me with a good feeling... again. More
