Satisfied with communication and follow up on servicing that included: Battery replacement, recall fix and tune-up. More
I took my car in to be fixed. They did not fix it & rude I took my car in to have two things repaired. They only addressed one thing, didn’t address the second thing until I asked for it three times, then g I took my car in to have two things repaired. They did “comp” me one hr of diagnostic time (that they caused) as a part of this. The first of two aforementioned items they did not fix fully. I had to take it back. They provided me a loaner car this time. They told me there was nothing wrong with my car. The car is making an very loud “howling” noise when driven, a lingering result of the problem they were paid to fix. This noise is beyond obvious and so loud it vibrates the car. I was told “we don’t hear anything”. That absurd! The service guy got defensive and said “the mechanic that looked at it has been here for 30years, so it’s good”. I asked “did you test drive it? This noise is way obvious. My kids asked about it”. He said “yes we did. If you want to com in and show us what you’re talking about you can if you want”. I exclaimed it’s an over the top loud noise. It’s obvious”. Again he repeated his offer for me to come in to show this “30 yr veteran mechanic”. I said “So you’re telling me I need to drive back there, and go on a test drive with you so I can tell you to fix this loud obvious sound”. He snipped “YUP!” Utterly ridiclois. There was another (3rd) repair I asked them to quote me. He provided an over the top $450 quote to fix that. I almost said “go ahead and do that”. Then I thought to myself “No. why would I pay these knuckleheads more money to work on my car when they’ve already taken money from me for one repair that wasn’t done right and (supposively) claim they can’t hear an obvious car noise.” They’re entirely incompetent. I asked where my bill currently stood. I was again “comped” 1hr of analysis time, was told current bill is $0. Good ... except I’m still left w a problem from the initial repair that they didn’t fully complete, that I fully (over) paid for, that I have to take somewhere else to fix - hopefully someone w integrity. I went back and got my car. They fixed nothing. Before I got out of their parking lot, my car was HOWLING that noise (which gets louder w speed). They lied to me about test driving it, or lied about “we don’t hear anything”. The guy I had to deal w was snotty w me. They totally wasted my time. I paid $0 on this second visit and I over paid. They should have fixed it right the first time, but things happen. To treat me like this when I have to take it back? How does a place like this stay in business? Who puts up with this? A “30 year mechanic” doesn’t know what he’s doing? I work with SEVERAL engineers who drive Audi’s. I’ve yet to hear a single one of them disagree with me regarding xxxxty service at this dealership. I now can say via experience I concur. You don’t get “one star” on anything. You get what I got: less than zero. You suck! More
Inconsistent, overpriced and didn’t complete recall The charge of nearly $800 for a new key was absurd. When I called, they could not find my car to know if it was done. A day later, I got a recall notice for that car in the mail. Why it wasn’t done while it was there suggests that care wasn’t taken to inspect the car as suggested. Poor attitudes among the service people who pushed me from one person to another. More
