Beware of Classic Automobiles, Inc. 541 White Plains Beware of Classic Automobiles, Inc. 541 White Plains Road Eastchester, NY 10709 I just want to let you know about my terrible experience with C Beware of Classic Automobiles, Inc. 541 White Plains Road Eastchester, NY 10709 I just want to let you know about my terrible experience with Classic’s service dept: When my Audi A8 started to make a loud noise in the transmission, I brought it to Classic for them to diagnose the problem. The noise was so loud that Sal, the service advisor recommended I not drive the car for fear it might blow up. After keeping the car for week, Sal the service adviser told me it was something to do the heater valve. I asked if he was sure, because it didn’t to me that it was coming from inside the engine block. Sal, confirmed he had his best guy look it over to be sure, so I said, OK, let’s do it. Two weeks and $2,700 later, I picked up my car only to have the noise return on the ride home. I called the dealership emidiatly, spoke to the service mger who told me to bring it back in. This time, they said it was the transmission. He said I needed a new tranny and it would cost $7000. I went on Audiworld.com website, where several bloggers told me all I needed was to change the transmission fluid and filter. I did and the noise went away. It cost $411. Meanwhile, I spent $2,700 of unneeded repairs with classic. They never reimbursed me. I even wrote a letter to Arthur Miller, the owner but never got my money back. These people are crooks thieves and criminals! DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. More

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience - not only did they not look at the issues I asked them to, charge me diagnosis fee without coming up with a proper diagnosis, but then locked out my car with out telling me look at the issues I asked them to, charge me diagnosis fee without coming up with a proper diagnosis, but then locked out my car with out telling me that the key would be inside, left it sitting unsecured overnight, and on top of everything they then fraudulently charged my credit card for several thousand $$ which I had to rectify through my bank..Classic Audi (Tony's) only answer: "yeah we charged the wrong card". THE WORST dealer experience I have ever had - stay away from this service department, they are overpriced, rude, and - whats worst - plain incompetent!!!! More
Prior to purchasing the vehicle I bought from Classic I spoke to the sales person, Tracey, she was most helpful and accommodating. My primary concern was whether the pre-owned vehicle I was interested in spoke to the sales person, Tracey, she was most helpful and accommodating. My primary concern was whether the pre-owned vehicle I was interested in had any damage or had been repaired. The car had a clean CarFax report but that does not tell the whole story. When I next spoke to her I was told the car was clean except for two small chips that would be touched up. We worked out the details and I picked up the vehicle the following day. The car looked good in the bright sun and trusting that I was dealing with straight folks I accepted the car. The next day I took it by my body shop and when they looked the car over they detected work on both the right rear quarter and the hood. In the shade the work was apparent, looked recent and was of questionable quality. Concerned about the possibility of long term problems, I immediately called Tracey who assured me they would do whatever was necessary to make me happy. She told me the sales manager would contact me in the morning. Without going into all the details, Tracey's assurance of satisfaction turned out to be limited to a check for $500 on poor work that will cost me $1,900 to fix properly. They would not take the car back after a mere 28 hours and just getting the $500 was an ordeal. Of course, they had no knowledge of the work. When you purport to run a high quality business and you promise to make a customer happy you should do just that especially when the one thing the customer said they wanted to ensure was that the car had not had any body work done on it.
