Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced and appreciate the opportunity to re-inspect your Q5. After the thermostat and water pump leak was repaired, our team performed a full pressure and road test which standard practice for confirming repair integrity and no additional leaks were present at that time. Because the cooling system operates under high pressure, any active issues would typically surface immediately. Unfortunately, 27 days and nearly 2,000 miles later, a new coolant leak developed from a separate component in the coolant system. As vehicles age and mileage, it’s possible for renewed system pressure to place stress on older parts, leading to future leaks in areas that initially showed no signs of failure. While we always recommend replacing any components that appear worn or brittle, we never push unnecessary repairs. Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priorities, and while we regret this situation, we remain committed to supporting you and standing behind our work.
