Selling shady cars but passing a 300 point with 98% We purchased a preowned vehicle from the North Miami Audi dealership. It’s a 2015 Q5 with 23K miles. We had looked at other Q5’s from different non-Au We purchased a preowned vehicle from the North Miami Audi dealership. It’s a 2015 Q5 with 23K miles. We had looked at other Q5’s from different non-Audi dealerships but decided we would rather pay a bit extra knowing it came from an Audi dealership. The car had been put through Audi’s 300 point inspection, passing with a 98%. We didn’t haggle down the sales price and purchased through Audi Financing within 24 hours. (DAY 1) After leaving the dealership, we found all all 4 tires were unbalanced, with weights stacked 3 high on each one. The dealership wanted us to drive back down 90min to check the balance. We decided to just pay out of pocket and had all four tires rebalanced the next day at our local mechanic. (DAY 2) While tying to buckle into the back seat, the seat belt buckle broke apart. You could see where the clips has been broken but they had glued the pieces together. Later that day while putting the back seats down, the clip cover on the middle seat ALSO broke off. (DAY 6) The drivers side seat had several cracks on the right shoulder. Upon further inspection, you could see where the dealership had painted over these cracks. We called the dealership back because at this point we are getting fed up. The dealership gave us a courtesy car to drive and said they would take care of the problems. After a week, the car was ready to be picked up. Before driving to get the car, we had the Service Department confirm that everything had been done to a high standard, which they confirmed. The service department had replaced the whole buckle in the back but said the faulty work on the seat wasn’t his department. As for the seat, Audi had it painted over again! We then contacted the General Manager , Dan Minner, about what our next step to resolving this issue would be. We informed him that during the sale, we were told we could contact them in 72 hours if there was an issue. His response, “No, that’s not true, It’s not like buying a vacuum or timeshare where you can trade it in”. At this point, we are beyond livid at the shady work this dealership has done. To hide several problems with the vehicle and pass it off as passing the 300 point inspection with a 98% is terrible. Their response to my review was "We hope this clarifies things. Federal law allows you a 3 day right of rescission for two types of contracts: those that resulted from in-home sales (e.g. door-to-door sales calls) and certain loan contracts, primarily home mortgage loans and private education loans that exceed $25,000." More

My sales associate Christian Bastidas was extremely helpful and made sure I got the model I wanted with the options I wanted. He even followed up after delivery to make sure I was happy! Chris Atwood in the finance department took my call when I had a question i needed answered before I signed my finance papers...it was his day off..I'm pretty sure he was on a boat when he took my call..answered my question..very professional..5 stars for Chris! When the car was delivered it was beyond my expectations! Before it left the dealership, Javier Villavicencio made sure my new S3 was "online" and properly prepped for delivery. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new Audi! These guys are like family! Super easy! Beyond satisfied!!! More
