Bad Service Experience What was supposed to be a simple, two day, sensor fix, turned into a three week disaster that has left me with a taste for Prestige Imports and Audi t What was supposed to be a simple, two day, sensor fix, turned into a three week disaster that has left me with a taste for Prestige Imports and Audi that isn't very digestible. I dropped the car off on November 10th to fix a coolant sensor that seemed to be faulty. The first time I received a call from Diana Giraldo just two days later and was told my car was ready to pick up, I drove over only to find her pulling my car around and telling me the light was still on. I was told I would have to come back at a later time; fine, no problem. The next time I was told to come pick my finished car up, on November 18th, was when things got upsetting. I was handed my keys and told I was free to go. There were scratches all over both sides of the car doors and the front bumper was noticeably crashed and hanging off. How could I be the only one who noticed this and had to point it out? After looking at the car and examining the pictures taken when I dropped it off, the dealership confirmed they damaged the car. Instead of apologizing to me for the inconvenience, Diana was aggravated and all I received was "Okay, take the loaner back." I didn't get a sorry, I didn't get a time the car would be fixed, I got an attitude as if I did something wrong, that's all. I left the dealership confused and very upset. After me calling two different times to find out when my car was going to be finished, Diana told me it would be ready on Friday, November 21st. After leaving work early and while on my way to the dealership, I called to make sure the car was ready. Only then did Diana tell me it now wouldn't be ready until the next Monday. So now I have left work early, and am still in the A3 rental for another 8 days until I was then called that my car was officially ready. When I showed up this third time thinking I was finally going to get my car, I was outraged to see the scratches on my driver door were still there, unfixed. Only at this point did I ask to speak to the service manager, Richard Llanes. I explained the entire situation and let him know I was not okay with what was going on and more so how inappropriately it was being dealt with. Richard apologized and assured me he would take care of it. I got in my car to leave to find the airbag and break sensors flashing in my face. Yet another oversight by the dealership and disappointment to me. While driving around the lot to leave in the rental car, I witnessed my car being reversed into a spot by a service driver who was looking straight into his phone while going backwards. This threw me over the edge as if I needed more reason. I went back into the dealership where I was ignored by Diana and couldn't find Richard so I left him a message with a realization as to how my car might have been crashed in the first place. He called me during the weekend to update me and try to sell me a new car considering my lease was expiring. All considering, I visited the Collection in Coral Gables that weekend, in hopes of having a better experience and keeping my desire to stay with Audi. They were able to grant me a lease extension (while Prestige was denying this and trying to sell me a new car). Luckily this allowed me time to figure out what I was going to do. Between my three immediate family members and myself, we have had nine Audis in our family and take pride in our loyalty to Audi. After this horrific experience I am not sure we will be able to do business with Audi again which is very disheartening and unfortunate. More
