In the beginning of March, 2021 I purchased a used 2020 Tesla Model S Performance from Audi, Plano. The process of purchasing the car went smoothly. I was going to purchase the car in Texas and drive it Tesla Model S Performance from Audi, Plano. The process of purchasing the car went smoothly. I was going to purchase the car in Texas and drive it back to Massachusetts as I was moving. The sales team made the sale happen pretty quickly, and I was able to drive the car home. When I made the purchase, I was promised that the plates & title of the car would be mailed to my home address in Massachusetts. Nearly 3 months have passed, and I still have not received the title or plates. Over the past month, I've made numerous attempts to track down the location of the title. I've sent emails and not received responses, made countless phone calls and failed to obtain any valuable information. The team at Audi Plano flat out lied to me about where the title was. When I called at the beginning of May, I was told that the title had actually been shipped on April 28th. I asked for more information - could I get a tracking number? Where was the title shipped? They didn't have a tracking number, one employee said it was shipped to my home address and another said it was shipped to my local DMV. After about a week passed, I called again and was told that the title was actually at a sister dealership in Maryland. Throughout the past few days I've called many more times to try to track down the title, and still get shady responses and no information. I'm not even confident that the team knows the location of the title. I never get calls back when I'm told I'll get calls back, I'm told I'll be transferred to a manager and the calls get dropped. It's as if I'm being purposely ignored. I've waited so long that the temporary plate on my Tesla expired and I needed to renew it with the dealership. This dealership has been horrible to work with. They don't give clear answers. They've flat out lied to me, a customer that walked in and bought a $90,000 car in cash. Three months, still no car title or answers. Avoid. More
Not to make a mistake, the GSM in general was polite and worked out his way trying make a deal. However the salesperson Erasmo directly making the deal was horrible. I've done Lexus, BMW, Volvo and other Audi leases, neve thought any luxury dealer would still uses these techniques in 2021 but it's an Autonation franchise to start with so there's that. Guess it's a lesson learnt to always put things in writing although I had never needed that. Even though, it could have still been a hand shake then saying best luck since honest mistakes and misunderstanding does happen (I'm being generous here), however this dude and his finance guys couldn't be bothered. One of the most corky guys I've dealt lately. Absolutely avoid him, you've been warned. Generally speaking avoid the dealership as well. More
Beware of some of their shady tactics. We went through the Costco auto program and were never shown the Costco pricing sheet. They tried several pressure tactics and kept us waiting for over an hour. They even made a "mistake" and tried to get us to pay for a higher priced model. Edit: after talking this over with the wife; we came to the conclusion that most of the above can be attributed to disorganization. Proceed at your own risk if using the Costco Auto Program, as you may not be shown the pricing sheet. Raising to 3 stars. More
