Battery replacement I brought my Audi A 4 in for the 45,000 mile check-up, and was told that "everything had checked out well" only for my battery to die a few days later I brought my Audi A 4 in for the 45,000 mile check-up, and was told that "everything had checked out well" only for my battery to die a few days later....obviously an oversight on their part! I then had to return for a SECOND visit, which was a big inconvenience, and then was grossly overcharged for the replacement of my battery. A quick google search showed that the A4 battery costs $150 , so how do you explain a charge of $ 635 for this service? When I called to speak to the manager, he was "not available " and even though the service rep Manny assured me several times that the manager would call me back, that has yet to happen.VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Best part of Audi is it's Customer Service after the Sale Over my lifetime I have owned or leased mostly Audi, Mercedes, and BMW. Where the rubber meets the road is first and foremost the service rep- the friendliness, courtesy, follow up, and follow through. Then comes the dealership and how they handle unique or one -off situations that are not normal or routine and require regional support for a decision.
