Kyle couldn’t have been less interested in selling me a car. He strung me along on my questions about the car’s maintenance history and told me he was too busy and would work on it Monday. My dealings with the Auffenberg Ford in Belleville, IL have not been good. I purchased a Certified 2017 Ford Focus in Dec of 2019. The issue started when I took the car in for service because of an o have not been good. I purchased a Certified 2017 Ford Focus in Dec of 2019. The issue started when I took the car in for service because of an oil leak and Auffenberg found additional items wrong with the powertrain. I let them know that I bought the car Certified with a 7 year 100 thousand mile powertrain warranty (the car has 77,000 miles on it). The service center came back to me saying the car was sold to me without the Certification. After getting the runaround as to why, their final answer was that I declined the "optional" add on warranties. The reason I opted out of the additional warranties was because of the powertrain warranty that came with the vehicle certification. The powertrain work came to over $1400. I wrote several emails to the dealership and finally received a call from the General Manager who said the car was certified and that I did have the warranty. He promised to get back to me with a solution. It's now been 7 days since that call and no one will respond with an update. Note that I included Mr. Auffenberg in my emails. This issue is very frustrating. More
Highly recommend Auffenberg Ford Bellevile! We went out looking for a new truck and very glad that we chose Auffenberg! Showed up at 3pm for a trade with no clue what inventory was available. We met Kyle, looking for a new truck and very glad that we chose Auffenberg! Showed up at 3pm for a trade with no clue what inventory was available. We met Kyle, he asked what we were in for and off we went. We drove to 3 different locations looking at inventory finding the right one. The straight forward answers to questions we had was refreshing. Kyle was knowledgeable and was able to get answers my wife and I needed for the sale to be able to happen. The sales team and the finance team stayed late to help us finish the sale since my schedule did not allow another time. The entire experience was great and will recommend to any one that is looking for a new vehicle. We will for sure be back for our next trade. More
I bought a car for my 18 year old daughter from here. I also purchased the package that pays for maintenance and oil changes so my daughter could take it in as needed. Let me tell you, the individuals working in the service department are ignorant and condescending. Instead of being helpful and/or offering advice to an 18 year old, they made her feel stupid for asking a question. They also will not go out of their way to do anything more than the bare minimum. Twice now they have referred me back to the Auffenberg VW dealership to ask questions, which would not be a huge deal except that place is a joke as well. Bought one car from them and never again. Bottom line, Auffenberg leaves much to be desired in the way of customer service. Do yourself a favor and cross the river for sales or service if you can. More
