Found & repaired cause of violent shaking We are fulltime RVers and tow a 16,000 pound 5th wheel trailer. While traveling east on I-80 just south of Chicago we experienced a violent front-end We are fulltime RVers and tow a 16,000 pound 5th wheel trailer. While traveling east on I-80 just south of Chicago we experienced a violent front-end shaking on our truck. It's a 2017 F-350. We went into a Ford dealer in Elkhart, Indiana. They told us everything was fine. Not to worry. Likely an anomaly. Next day, same thing. Hit some pavement breaks and the truck shook again. Went to Auto Park Ford in Sturgis, Michigan. They found the problem; a bad track bar ball joint and steering shock. Since we were just traveling through, and the problem was a safety issue, they got us right in and fixed it. We are very, very grateful and appreciative to them for the great work! More
